October 2015 Birchbox Unboxing

It is a new month so that can mean SO MANY things. For me it means a new Birchbox! I love the surprise each month, this month I did pick this box out. It was called the Power Pose.

1. Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Mega Melon- This is one of the reasons I picked this box because I have heard such great things about this product and have been wanting to try it!

2. Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief- Last month I finished my night cream, so this being in my box was perfect timing (like usual).

3. Darphin Stimulskin Plus Multi Coverage- This seems like a perfect day cream because it has a little bit of color to it so I might try mixing it in with my primer and see how it does.

4. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum Synchronized Complex II- I need to start using an eye cream, so hopefully this month I can start a habit to do so.

5. Smashbox Photofinish Foundation Primer- I am using this right now and love it! I am excited that this was included so I can have a (mini) backup.

Check out the above video! I hope you enjoyed, come back next month to see what I thought about the products. Have a wonderful day!

October Project Pan Update

It is the middle of the month and that means time to update you on my monthly project pan. The products I have chose might not be used up in the month but I want to focus on them and make some decent progress. Even if I product isn't finished it might or might not be in the next month's project pan.

Listed below are the products I chose to focus on for October.

1. Benefit's Confessions of a Concealaholic-  I am so close. I use this everyday under my eyes and I have finally cleared out half of the bottom so we will see if I can finish it by the end of the month.

2. e.l.f. Essential All Over Color Stick in Persimmon- I am so excited with the progress I have made! I think this should be done by the end of the month!

3. NYC Sunny Bronzer - The bronzer that will never die! I am very close to finishing it, so hopefully October is the month.

4. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk- I didn't expect to finish this in October, but my goal was to hit pan. I accomplished my goal so we will so how much farther I can go this month!

5. Reveal3d Quad in Desert Bloom- I hit pan on all four colors! I am so excited! I love how fast I seem to be able to use up eyeshadows, considering they are my weakness.

6. Maybelline Expert Wear Defining Liner in Slate Gray- I made some decent progress, which I am excited about. At this rate, I will be able to finish it by the end of the month!

I hope you enjoyed the products I picked out for my September Project Pan. I will have the introduction to my October Project Pan up on Thursday! Have a wonderful day!

September 2015 Birchbox Review

Click here to watch the video!

I have been using these products for a solid month! Now it is time to tell you might thoughts.

1. Montale's Intense Cafe- I was really surprised that I liked this scent. The full size is pretty expensive so I don't think I will repurchase it, but it is good to know that I like the notes that are present in it.

2. Tocca's Esfoliante deCorpe- This smells AMAZING!!! I really liked it, it was a little harsh, so I ended up mixing it in with my body wash and that seemed to work well.

3. TreStiQue Correct and Cover Concealer Crayon in Bisque- I loved how creamy it was, I was focused on a darker concealer this month, but every time I used this, it was wonderful!

4. Rene Furtere Absolue Keratine Sublime Renewal Leave-in Conditioner- I really did like this. I didn't make my hair greasy and made it feel amazing.

5. Pop Beauty's Trio in Sugar Plum- I love pop eyeshadows! They are GREAT! I am so excited to continue using this and eventually get more! I would 100% recommend these eyeshadows!

Check out the above video! I hope you enjoyed, come back next month to see what I thought about the products. Have a wonderful day!

Lip Product Project Pan Update #2

Click Here to Watch the Introduction Video

Welcome back! I decided that on top of my monthly project pans and I was going to do a lip product project pan.

1. My nail polish project pan was going nowhere and I don't have a huge problem buying nail polish

2. I have A LOT of lip products that I need to get through and I tend to randomly buy/get them.

I have chosen two lip balms, two lipsticks, a lip stain and 7 lip glosses and I want to want to finish these up by December 31st.

Lipstick

1. Covergirl Lipstick in Sweetheart - I am not a huge fan of this lipstick and am happy with the progress I made this month! I plan on putting this aside until I finish the other lipstick.

2. Avon Lipstick in Frozen - This is similar to the Covergirl lipstick with the frosty effect which I am again not a fan of. I didn't use this much and am going to focus on this lipstick for the next two months to hopefully finish it up.

LipBalm

3. The Body Shop Born Lippy Raspberry Lip Balm- I hit "pan"! I use this almost everyday as I am getting ready and I have made some great progress!

LipStain

4. L'Oreal Paris Colour Caresse Wet Shine Lip Stain in Pink Resistance- I go back and forth whether I like this product, but like I said before I have WAY too many lip products and I have found other stains I like better. I am happy with the progress because you are starting to be able to see the sides, I have no idea how long this will take me.

Lipgloss

7. Covergirl Wetslicks AmazeMint in Un-wined- I LOVE this gloss. I will be focusing on this gloss a lot in the next few months. I still haven't been able to see where I am at, so hopefully I can get it finished.

8. C.O. Bigelow Organics in Strawberry and Cream- I have used this every once and awhile. I am going to try and use it a little more this month. I think when the weather gets cooler I will want more chapsticks (which this works for that).

9. Avon Glazewear Extreme in Coral Crush - I used this a few times. I will be focusing on this for the next few months to hopefully finish it up because there was no visible progress this month.

10. Bare Essential Lip Guard in Pebble Beach- I have placed this in my car, so hopefully that remind me to use it. I really do like the formula and texture, I just ALWAYS forget about it so we will see.

11. POP Aqua Lauger in Flowering Fuchsia- As you can tell I did make some progress this month, but I will be focusing on my other glosses and will come back to this closer to December. I might use it every once and awhile, but you probably won't see a ton of progress.

12. Covergirl Shine Blast in 825 Smolder- I took out the stopper! This is SO close to being finished that it will be by next month for sure. As long as I don't lose it, knock on wood! ;)

Finished Products

1. Life is Good Lipbalm- I am so happy this is finished. I wasn't super moisturizing and didn't seem to last long on my lips.

2. E.L.F. lipgloss in Oasis- I accidently took the stopper out in March and it became a mess. I really did like the color but with the stopper situation I am glad to have it finished.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know if you are doing a project pan because I was love to see it! Have a wonderful day!

September 2015 Empties

Welcome to the beginning of October! Which means it is empties time! To watch the video click the video below! I split this post into three categories: makeup, beauty, and random! Enjoy!

Makeup Empties

1-24. Markwins Palette (Not Repurchase)- I am so proud of this palette. As you can see I still have two blushes left, but I broke this palette and places the blushes in a Z-palette. This had 24 eyeshadows in it, so I am counting it as 24 products. I have had this for such a long time, the eyeshadows weren't great so even if I saw it again I would not repurchase.

25. Avon Glimmerstick Brow Definer in Tawny (Not Repurchase)- This color was too dark for me and I have found other brow products that work better and are more accessible.

26. Sephora Light Touch (Not Repurchase)- This is a product that I got on SUPER clearance and it was a little too dark for me, so I never used it. As time went on it oxidized and now it is a color that would never work for me or anyone I know.

Beauty Empties

27. Air Repair Complexion-Boosting Moisturizer (Might Repurchase)- I LOVED this as a moisturizer. The only reason I wouldn't repurchase it is because it doesn't have any SPF.

28. Supergoop! City Sunscreen Serum (Not Repurchase)- I received this in a Birchbox and just didn't like it. It didn't seem to do anything for me so I will not purchase the full size.

29. Vaseline Sheer Infusion (Might Repurchase) - I loved the scent of this lotion, however it was a little too thin for my liking. I might get it again in the summer when some days I want a thinner lotion.

30. Dear Clark Volumizing Tonic (Not Repurchase)- This product did nothing for me so I will not repurchase.

31. Shea Terra Organics Rose Hips Black Soap (Not Repurchase)- I couldn't tell a dramatic difference in my skin when I used this. It also smelled horrible and was a terrible black color that got everywhere.

32. Neutrogena Natural Night Cream (Might Repurchase)- I really liked this night cream. Some night it was too thick, but it worked really well. I have other night creams I would like to try before I purchase this one again.

33. - 37. Herbal Essence Spray Gel, Not Your Mother's Kinky Moved, Tommy Girl Gel, Herbal Essence Gel, Tresemme Gel (Not Repurchase) - I had a perm a few years ago and have been hanging on to these ever since. I decided this month they need to go to a new home to someone who actually uses them and that it what happened. I am counting them as empties because this took a long of willpower for me to give them up

Random Empties

38. Q-tips (Repurchase) - BUY THE NAME BRAND!!

39. Tuscany Candle Sunkissed Nectarine (Might Repurchase)- I really liked the scent but it was SO strong and so if I repurchase it again I might mix it with another scent. On its own it gave me a headache.

And those were my August Empties!  By the end of 2015, I want to have 365 empties. September (39) + August (44)+ July (35) + June (22) +May (23) +April (21) + March (16) + February (19) + January (23) means I am (242/365)! September 30th is the 273rd day of the year. Which means I still have some catching up to do if I want to finish 365 products by the end of the year.  Let me know your favorite eyebrow product below! Have a wonderful day!

October Project Pan Introduction

It is the beginning of the month and that means time to start a new monthly project pan. The products I have chose might not be used up in the month but I want to focus on them and make some decent progress. Even if I product isn't finished it might or might not be in the next month's project pan.

Listed below are the products I chose to focus on for October.

1. Benefit's Confessions of a Concealaholic-  I can't believe this is still going! I really want to be able to use it up this month.

2. e.l.f. Essential All Over Color Stick in Persimmon- I made some pretty good progress on this. I am sure it will be used up this month.

3. NYC Sunny Bronzer - The bronzer that will never die! I am very close to finishing it, so hopefully October is the month.

4. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk- I don't expect to finish this in October, but my goal is to hit pan. It goes wonderfully with my eyeshadow pallet.

5. Reveal3d Quad in Desert Bloom- I received this in my Birchbox this summer and thought the colors were perfect for fall. My goal is to finish this in October.

6. Maybelline Expert Wear Defining Liner in Slate Gray- I have had this for such a long time. I need to start working though my eyeliners. Gray isn't my favorite color, but it works pretty well when I build it up.

I hope you enjoyed the products I picked out for my September Project Pan. I will have the introduction to my October Project Pan up on Thursday! Have a wonderful day!
