It has been a month I received my May Birchbox. I am really excited to share my thoughts on these products. Let me know if you have any questions. I do pay for this and so my opinions are my own.
1. Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer- I actually have a full size of this prodcut and love it . I was excited to have a smaller size and I love it! It works well on my pale skin, but it should be built up so less pale skin. ** Still can't find the gloss!** 2. Model Cos Lip Laquer in Creme Brûlée- I used this gloss for a solid week and loved it! I have not been able to find it since!
3. Coola SPF 30 Organic Makeup Setting Spray- I have received this in a Birchbox before (I picked this box) and the first time it didn't spray out. This one did spray out, but it still didn't wow mean and the scent was terrible.
4. Davines LOVE Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner-This shampoo and conditioner is suppose to calm fizz, add moisture and shine. I really loved the lavender smell. It was okay, I wouldn't repurchase because it didn't do anything special to my hair.
5. Clean Blossom Eau de Parfum- This is a gorgeous scent with notes of Tunisian neroli, orange blossom and sensual sandalwood. It does smell like clean and floral I like. I am not sure if I would purchase it isn't a scent I think I would pick out for myself.
I hope you enjoyed my thoughts on these products. Last week I shared what was in my June Project Pan, don't for get to check that out! Don't forget to watch the above video. ~Annelise
It is the middle of June and that means time for the update of this month's project pan. The products I have chose might not be used up in the month but I want to focus on them and make some decent progress. Even if I product isn't finished it might or might not be in the next month's project pan. Listed below are the products I chose to focus on for June:
1. Eyes Lips Face All Over Color stick in Pink Lemonade- I hope to come close to finishing it in June. It is a really bright product that I use as a cream blush. I use it mainly for lazy days which I feel like will be a little more frequent in June.
2. Benefit's Watts Up- I am hoping to finish it this month. It has melted a little bit since it is in my bathroom which in the summer gets a little warmer.
3. Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze- I am hoping to finish it this month! I have made decent progress since last time, we will see how many times I wear makeup the rest of the month.
**4. The Balms' Cindy Lou-Manizer- I received this from Birchbox last year and I am excited to say that it is FINISHED!!! It was a gorgeous highlight, but just a little too coral toned for everyday wear.
5. E.L.F. Blush and Bronzer- I have made some progress I was hoping to hit pan this month, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. I will continue working on both the bronzer and blush because ya never know.
6. Stila Lip Glaze in Lights- I am really happy with the progress hopefully I continue to see progress so I can finish it up this month.
**7. Pop Aqua Lacquer in Flowering Fuchsia- It was in a lip prodcut project pan that didn't work too well. I am happy to announce that it is finished!
8. E.L.F. Lipstick in Natural Nymph- I realized I didn't mention this product in my introduction post. I have two of the same lipstick and so it is time to use one of them up! I have been really enjoying wearing nude lips!
I hope you enjoyed the update to the products I picked out for my June Project Pan. I will have my finale to my June Project Pan up on in about two weeks! Have a wonderful day!

It is a new month ( I received this on June 8th) and so it is time to share with you my June Birchbox. I am really excited to try these products. Let me know if you have any questions. I do pay for this and so my opinions are my own.
2. Davines Authentic Replenishing Butter for Face, Hair & Body- I am excited to try this multi-purpose product out. It is a balm that conditions hair, skin and removes makeup. I plan on using it at night to remove makeup. I have enough conditioner so I don't think I will be using it on my hair.
4. LOC One & Done Shadow Stick in Haute Cocoa-Eye products always get me! I am excited to be able to try a new one! I using a Maybelline color tattoo in my monthly project pan that is almost done and I will be using this after that is finished.
5. Air Repair Complexion Boosting Moisturizer-I believe I might have had this before but as the name suggests it is a face moisturizer. I am disappointed that is doesn't have SPF especially for the summer time.
6. NUXE Rêve de Miel® Facial Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Gel- Multi-purpose products are my favorite! This is no different, a face wash and makeup remover in one. I plan on using this more in the morning because I think the gel will feel nice when I wake up.
I hope you enjoyed my initial thoughts on these products. Around the middle of June I will have my final thoughts on them. Hopefully I can use some of them up and really let you know how i feel. Don't forget to watch the above video. ~Annelise
I am so excited to share with you the progress on the palette I plan on working on in 2016. I am still not sure how much I will be able to use, but this is the only palette I am using!
I received this as a perk for order over certain amount from eyeslipsface.com and never have really used it since it is SO big. The cover has since popped off and so I think it is time to move it out. It will be fun to experiment with the different colors while still having basics to fall back to.
January, I wore whatever shades I wanted. I did crush up one shade(a dark army green) because it had no pigmentation and was very chalky. February I used the pink/red row, with some neutrals included. I hit pan 13 shades!
March, I focused on the light green row. My plan is to focus on a color fully row each month to try and move those out so I am not left with them all at the end. I want to have pan on a few shades in the next update. I ended up panning 7 out of 12 shades. In April, I decided to focus on the light blue row. I have hit pan on 10/12 shades. I am excited to see what happens. I have also decided this month that when I have a large amount of pan on a shadow I will be crushing it up because it becomes too messy once pan has hit.
In May I am focused on the purple column. I really enjoyed the way that these eyeshadows look. I was never a huge fan of purple, but it is growing on me! I ended the month plus a few days in June panning 8 out of 12 shades in that column.
June, I plan on using the four columns I have focused on and trying to use them up. I have four green shades, 1 blue shade, 4 purple shades and 5 from the pink/orange column to use up! I hope I can make some progress with them and finish them up this month!
In total I have 58 shiny pans and three with pan showing! I will be updating you every month and we will see how it goes! Wish me luck! Let me know if you are going to panning a palette this year! ~Annelise
Welcome to the beginning of June, which means it is empties time! To watch the video click the video below! I split this post into two categories: makeup, beauty! Enjoy!
Makeup Empties
1. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk (Not Repurchase)- I am so excited to have this finished! While it was a fun color, I prefer to have a neutral base for my eyeshadows.
2. Liplicious If the Tiara Fits (Not Repurchase)- I am excited that I was able to finish this! I have been working on it for months and I am glad to say good bye!
3. E.L.F. Blush in Candid Coral (Might Repurchase)- This blush was really powdery and started to break off and kick up lots of powder as I used it. I am glad I used it up when I did because it clearly needed to go.
4. E.L.F. Concealer in Fair (Not Repurchase)- This was not a very great concealer. It didn't cover many things up and it oxidized pretty bad during the day.
5. Cynthia Rowley Brightening Illuminator (Not Repurchase)- I received this from Birchbox and while I liked it, it wasn't my favorite. I mixed it with my foundations but it made them turn a little too pink for me.
6. Au Naturals Trio Sampler (Not Repurchase)- I received this from Birchbox and besides the samples being quiet small the product was not good. It was very greasy and hard to get out of the container.
7. L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Extra-Volume Collagen Mascara in Blackest Black (Not Repurchase)- This mascara gave GREAT volume, but it came at being very clumpy and I prefer more length then clumpy volume.
8. Tea Tree Pore Minimizing Primer (Not Repurchase)- It did okay keeping my makeup on, but I need a primer that works on brightening my face because pores aren't something I currently struggle with.
9. C.O. Bigelow Menthe Lip Shine (Not Repurchase)- I decided to finish this up because I realized I had two of them. I do really like this as a lip gloss but it is not moisturizing. I want my makeup collection to shrink and to do that I am going to want/need multi-tasking products and this is not one of them.
Beauty Empties
10. Bodycology Sweet Seduction (Not Repurchase)- While this lotion was great I am trying to move to more natural lotions. I have some other ones to get through first but I would recommend this lotion if you want a cheap alternative to Bath and Body Works.
11. Perricone MD (Not Repurchase)- I believe I got this at Sephora. I used it up and was glad it had SPF in it, but I didn't notice anything great so I will not purchase the full size.
12. Botanics Eye Cream (Not Repurchase)- This was an okay eye cream. I have one eye cream left, after that I will not be purchasing eye cream and I will just use face moisturizer for that area.
13. Marcelle 3 in 1 Micellar Solution (Not Repurchase)- I received this in my Birchbox and really loved it! I will not being purchasing the full size because the Simple Micellar Water is cheaper and works just as well.
14. Clinique Happy (Might Repurchase)- I really liked the scent of this! I might repurchase it. I plan on once all my other scents are gone going to into a store and deciding which perfume I would like.
15. Garnier Fructis Full and Plush (Might Repurchase)- I really liked this Conditioner, I want to try some more natural hair products. Leave your recommendations below! I would repurchase this though it really did volumize my hair.
And those were my May Empties! By the end of 2015, I want to have 300 products. I had 102 products in January thru April. Now, in May there were 15 for a total of 117 products which is pretty great!
Let me know if you have ever tried more natural shampoo! Have a wonderful day! ~Annelise
