November 2014 Birchbox Review

So last month I received a great Birchbox! It is now review time!

1. Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo- this dry shampoo worked really well. It made my hair look and feel great on days it didn't start like that. However, even in my blonde hair it left a white residue that was hard to rub in. I like my Baltist light and blonde shampoo fee used it gives off a blonde color and Gerard's of my grease.

2. Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream- I really liked this moisturizer. It works well in the morning and night. I am thinking about getting the full size because the texture of the cream  is perfect! This is an expensive product, so I will probably use my Birchbox points to get it later in 2015 or when my other moisturizersare used up.

3. Gilchrist & Soames Spa Therapy Body Wash- this body was smelled amazing! It worked pretty well, but because it is more expensive and not assessable to me at the drugstore I am going to stick to other body washes.

4. Juice Beauty green Apple Peel Sensitive- I received this in my Birchbox a few years ago and loved it and got the full size. Since then, I have discovered My face likes and reps ponds best to mud masks. This is a great peel, but I won't be getting the full size.

5. Thebalm cosmetics Cindy-Lou Manizer- I have wanted to try this highlighter of so long! I was happy to see it in my Birchbox. After using it I still love it, this color is a little too dark for my skin right now. I think this will look great in the summer. I am thinking about getting the Mary-Lou Manizer because it is a lighter highlight that I think will look good on me year round.

6.    Justin's Natural Chocolate Almond Butter- The flavor (chocolate) was good. I am very much a texture person when I eat. This had the texture of butter which I am not a huge fan of, I was hoping it would be thicker. If you like butter and chocolate then this is perfect for you!

I hope you enjoyed this review of my November Birchbox. Have a wonderful day! Let me know your favorite highlighter down below.

NOTD: Sally Hansen Boca Mocha

Brown is usually not a flattering color on my skin tone. This nail polish is a great reddish brown shade that is perfect for fall! The nail polish I chose for this week was Sally Hansen Boca Mocha. With two coats it is perfectly opaque and with a top coat it lasts for over a week!

November Empties

It's empties time! This month I don't have a lot of products because I switch up a few products I use in my everyday routine and tried out some fun ones for around Thanksgiving. I hope you all had a great month of November and are excited about December!

1. Batiste Dry Shampoo in Light & Blonde(Repurchase)- I loved this dry shampoo! I have been trying so many drug store dry shampoos and this is the best one I have found! It doesn't leave my hair with a tacky texture and removes all of my oil!

2. Equate Original Clean Wet Cleansing Towelettes (Might Repurchase)- These were great to get the bulk of my makeup off at the end of the day. It didn't get everything off, but it did help. I was impressed how they stayed wet because I have been using these for over six months.

3. Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea Glowing Body Scrub (Might Repurchase)- I loved this scrub! I wasn't a huge fan of the smell, but I would get another scrub in another scent. (I have one in my shower right now.)

4. Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea Sunscreen Body Lotion (Not Repurchase)- When I saw this lotion I thought it would be perfect to use with the body scrub. I didn't get to try out the sunscreen because it was so cold this month! I like the Body Creams better than the lotions. Like above, this isn't my favorite scent, so I won't get it again.

5. Moroccan Oil (Not Repurchase)- This product is hard because I used to love it, but after trying other products for my hair I like other products better and would rather purchase those.

6. Maybelline Expertwear in ebony Black (Not Repurchase)- I am not a huge eyeliner person, I have been trying to work with it a little more to become better because it makes such a difference with my eyes. I liked how this one had a smugger on the end. I just haven't found the perfect one for me, so I am going to keep trying eyeliners! Let me know your favorite below!

7. Malin + Goetz Vitamine e face moisturizer (Not Repurchase)- This sample was a great size to really get to test out the product because you didn't very much each time. I used it many times and I didn't like the consistency it wasn't greasy, just too thin for me.

8. Aquafresh Extreme Clean (Not Repurchase)- I didn't like this toothpaste. I did make my mouth feel clean, but it smelled weird. It also claimed to have whitening acting and I didn't notice any difference.

9. Fekkai Technician Color Care Shampoo and 3 Minute Mask (Not Repurchase)-  I am still trying to find my favorite shampoo and conditioner these two were good, but

10. Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care Shampoo & Conditioner (NOT Repurchase)- This shampoo and conditioner made my scalp so dry and flaky that I couldn't even finish the sample! I had two more of the same shampoo that I am not going to use because it made my head so bad!

11. Taylor Swift Wonderstruck (Might Repurchase)- I currently have the full size and I love it! I am not sure if I will repurchase it or try another perfume, once my full size is gone.

12. Better Homes and Garden Black and Blue Cobbler (Not Repurchase)- I wasn't impressed with this fragrance. It didn't last but a few hours in my house and it smelled so good in the package. I have found that these are hit or miss, but for only $2 it is worth the risk.

I hope you enjoyed my November empties! Feel free and watch my YouTube video that goes along with it! (Coming December 4)

An Actual schedule?

I have been writing "consistently" for about a year. I thought it was about time for a schedule. I have recently changed my YouTube schedule, I will post a video below if you want to watch that. For this blog, I will be post every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This schedule will make more sense in January because it will coincide nicely with my YouTube schedule. I hope this is a schedule I can keep up with and will be testing it out this month.

Let me know if there is anything specific you would like to see! Thanks for reading!

NOTD: Sally Hansen Pat on the Black

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I have been sick for the past week and have been trying to get better. I also went to my hometown over the Thanksgiving holiday to see my family. I love this color for the fall it is Sally Hansen's Pat on the Black. The color is a deep, dark reddish plum shade which is opaque with two coats. I absolutely love it! Below, are pictures of the polish in different lighting.

October 2014 Birchbox Review

Let's Review! I have spent the last month trying out my October Birchbox products and below are my thoughts.

1. Beauty-blender and deluxe solid cleanser- I never had a real beauty-blender and I absolutely love it! I would definitely recommend it, although I think most sponges work the same.

2. Camille Beckham's Tuscan Honey Hand Therapy- I love this hand cream it smells so good and moisturizes so well. I am not sure if I will purchase the full size because I have other hand creams that I like just as much as we will have to see when I eventually get through them all.

3. dr. Brant Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner- This was the one product that I was disappointed in this month. I don't struggle with black heads, but this product was also suppose to smooth your skin. I didn't find it do anything for my skin and actually felt like it made me skin break out. I was not impressed.

4. ModelCo Party Proof Lipstick in Kitty- I loved this lipstick this month! This is the perfect lipstick for the fall. It is the perfect darker nude. It says this is suppose to be a matte lipstick but I find it to have a beautiful sheen and moisturizing.

5. Sage and Fasten Onward- I liked this perfume. I used it throughout the day when I felt like I needed a pick-me-up with it's lovely grapefruit, green apple and lemon scent.

I hope you enjoyed! Let me know what your favorite face mask is down below!
