December 2015 Project Pan Update

It is the middle of the month and that means time to update you on my monthly project pan.  The products I have chose might not be used up in the month but I want to focus on them and make some decent progress. Even if I product isn't finished it might or might not be in the next month's project pan.

Listed below are the products I chose to focus on for December:

1. Avon Smooth Mineral Blush in Rose Radiance- PROGRESS!! I ended up marking where I started and I am excited with the amount of progress.

2. Laura Geller Silver Sands - I received this last year in my Birchbox and this is the first time I am using it! I haven't made that make progress, but I am enjoying using it.

3. trèStiQue Correct & Cover Concealer Crayon- I finished it! I am so excite that this is finished. I received it in my Birchbox and the formula was okay, the stick form I didn't like and the color was a little off for me.

4. Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Hot Tamale- I started using this halfway through last month, so I didn't make much visible progress. I am hoping I can start to see the edges this month.

5. Ulta Blush in Splendor and Bronzer- I didn't hit pan last month, that is my goal for the bronzer this month. I can see some progress, we will see if I can make my goal!

6. E.L.F. Eye Brightening Quad in Drama- I hit pan on one eyeshadow before I filmed the update, the next day I hit pan on another shadow! I hope to hit pan and finish most of it by the end of the month.

I hope you enjoyed the products I picked out for my November Project Pan. I will have the update to my November Project Pan up in two weeks! Have a wonderful day!

November 2015 Project Pan Finale

It is the end of the month and that means time to update you on my monthly project pan.  The products I have chose might not be used up in the month but I want to focus on them and make some decent progress. Even if I product isn't finished it might or might not be in the next month's project pan.
Listed below are the products I chose to focus on for November.

1. e.l.f. Essential All Over Color Stick in Persimmon- It is finished! I might get a different color, this one was a little too shiny for a blush and too pink for a highlight.

2. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk- I have hit pan on one side of the pan! I am excited with the progress I made. I won't be putting this in my December project pan to try and get some use out of another cream shadow.

3. trèStiQue Correct & Cover Concealer Crayon- I received this in my September Birchbox, and have been working on it for a little while. I made some decent progress and hopefully in December it can be used up!

4. Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Hot Tamale- I am not a huge fan of cream blushes so I have decided to keep them in my project pans to keep working on them. I didn't get to start using this right away, but I can see a little bit of progress. Watch the video to see why it is piled in the center.

5. Ulta Blush in Splendor and Bronzer- This blush and bronzer worked pretty well this month. I didn't hit pan on either, but I do see dips in both.

6. E.L.F. Eye Brightening Quad in Butternut- I have had this forever and this month I finished up two colors! The last two are close to being done. If I finish the quad in my December Project Pan I will work on this until the beginning of the year

I hope you enjoyed the finale of the products I picked out for my November Project Pan. I will have my December Project Pan up on Saturday! Have a wonderful day!

June 2015 Project Pan Finale

Hello! Long time no blog! I just realized I never blogged (took pictures) my update of my June Project Pan. You can watch the video below to see the update.

Since it is the end of June, it means the project is over and July's Project will start tomorrow! I did finish THREE products this month with I am very excited about!

Listed below are the products and the progress I made in June.

1. E.L.F Studio Bronzer in Golden- Unfortunately I didn't make much progress on this. I did use it everyday all over my face, but I used a big fluffy brush so you can't see the progress. I did really liked the glow it gave my face.

PARTLY EMPTY!!! 2. Benefit's Confessions of a Concealaholic- I finished That Gal Brighten Face Primer! I also hit pan on the other boi-ing concealer as well as Lemonade! I am so excited this the progress!

EMPTY!! 3. Wet 'n Wild Cream Eyeshadow in Wild Orchid-  I love this as a highlight, but I am happy to move on and use some of my others. I have been working on this product since February.

4. Palladio Eyeliner in Sky Blue- I fell in love with this color on my bottom lash line. Even though I wore it almost everyday I didn't make much visual progress because of the intense pigmentation.

5. Markwins- I was able to make decent progress on this. I hit pan on almost all the neutral shades and even some of the brighter ones! I did use the blushes as well, but you can't see any progress on those :(

EMPTY!!! 6. Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Birchbox PinkI finished this! I am so excited I tried to get as much out as a could but there is was quite a bit I couldn't get to. I am considering this done and won't be getting the full size.

7. Bodyography Lip Pencil in ZinfandelThis product is old and pretty dry. I was excited to see the progress I was able to make, hopefully I will finish it next month!

I hope you enjoyed! Don't forget to watch the accompanying video, above. Come back in tomorrow to see July's products. Have a great day!

April 2015 Birchbox Review

I have been using these products for about a month to see what I think about them. Today,  I am going to share my thoughts and conclusions on my April 2015 Birchbox.

1. Obliphica Intensive Hair Serum- I love this! It smells amazing! It also leaves the ends of my hair feeling super soft without being greasy which is amazing!

2.  POP Beauty POP Portfolio Eyeshadow Palette- I really liked these eyeshadows, they worked perfectly with eyeshadows in my project pan. The three colors I received worked perfectly together to enhance my blue eyes.

3. Whish Shave Crave Shaving Cream in Blueberry-  I really liked how moisturized my legs felt after using this. I usually use lotion to shave and this seemed to be a lotion-shave cream hybrid! AMAZING!

4. Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel- After using this multiple times I have come to the conclusion I am more of a mask person. I didn't like how balls of dead skin came off. I will finish it, but  I won't be repurchasing anything like this.

5.  jane iredale Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain in Forever Pink- I currently have a project pan going on with a cream blush, so I only used this product on my lips. I thought it was super moisturizing and felt a little like chapstick. I didn't think it stained my lips very well though.

I hope you enjoyed this! Let me know what your favorite eyeshadows are done below! Have a wonderful day!

January 2014 Birchbox

I just received my January Birchbox. I have been getting Birchbox for total about two years (I took a one year break for financial reasons). It is a $10 a month subscription service where you get a box with beauty products inside. I made a video entitled What is Birchbox? If you want to know more don't be afraid to ask. I would definitely recommend it as long as you have an extra $10 each month! I feel like this month is a great box.

Each month one of the things in the box is a list of everything in the box. The list includes...
1. product name
2. Company name
3. Price for the Full-size or certain amount
4. What it is
5. How you use it
This list is helpful, if you have no idea what the product is it also gives me a good way to describe it to you all in the beginning.

The packaging is very neat and it always fits in my mail box! I big plus! I have had a product leak out on my during shipping and birchbox replaced it and got back with me very quickly.

The first item that I saw was the Protect & Detangle by Beauty Protector. It is a spray that you use on damp hair and it is suppose to protect & detangle (hence the name). I am excited to use this product because I use a detangler EVERY time I get out of the shower or my hair is a complete rat's nest and I cant get a comb through it without taking a lot of hair with me!

The next product is Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. I am always in the market for a new cleanser for my face, I found a lot I like but none that have done amazing things for my skin or that I have just really liked. This is something I have never tried you first put the cleanser on your face and massage it in. Then you hot the muslin cloth (and hot water) and wipe it off in small circles. I love the idea especially in the winter time, the hot water will feel so good!

The next product is a lotion. This is another thing that I love trying. I love the Bath & Body Works Triple Moisture Creams, but I am always will to try different lotions to combat my dry skin in the winter. This is the Pink Grapefruit Nourishing Body Cream by 100% pure. I am excited to see how nourishing they actually are!

The next product is something I am always excited to see in my birchbox, a NAIL POLISH! I have never been able to use a full bottle of nail polish before it dries out so these little bottles are perfect. Since nail polish is normally $8 anyway, if you like the color it is like you got everything else in the box for $2. This nail polish is my the brand Ruby Wing and in the color Kitten Heels. Such a cute, fun name! I like the bright color, but it isn't just that color. If you can see in the first picture, it changes color in sunlight, it becomes a rich magenta. I am excited to try it out and see how it works!

The last thing in my box was a lifestyle extra. Ashmad Tea London. The three flavors I got were Jasmine Romance (green tea) and Peach & passion Fruit and English No. 1 Tea (both black teas). I love tea! I am excited to try these new flavors. I usually stick with green teacso it will be fun to branch and out try some black tea.

I hope you enjoyed reading. I will have a review on this Month's Box in January! I hope you check out my beauty channel for more fashion and beauty as well as my vlog channel to see what's going on in my life in video form! I hope you all have an amazing day!

February Favorites!

February Favorites!

I know a long time again, but its favorites time again. February has been a crazy month with Valentines Day, Career fairs, nice warm days, snow and tests!

My first favorite is my foundation, it is the Maybelline Fit Me foundation I purchased last spring. It is a little dark for my skin tone right now but it blends out nicely and gives medium to full coverage. I usually wear BB creams but when I need a foundation this is the one I reach for. So this came in very handy this month with career fairs and Valentine's Day! The only thing I am not a fan of is the opening which is just a whole, so it is hard to control how much comes out I usually get way too much, its not terribly expensive so this is not a huge deal.

My next favorite is a concealer, it is the Covergirl truconceal mine is in 1(the lightest shade). It works wonders underneath my eyes brightening them up and covering the dark circles. It is very creamy, but still light enough so it never appears cakey. I don't think it is thick enough for acne though.

The next two are blushes the first is Revlon's Cream Blush in Rosy Glow. It is a gorgeous color with a peachy rose color. It gives a subtle color your cheeks. It can stand alone but also looks great with other blushes. It also has a neat pop-out mirror!

The second blush is Maybelline Fit Me blush in Deep coral. It is similar to the cream blush but it is more of a mauve pink color (the two do look fantastic together). This blush is also a very natural blush on my skin tone.

The Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal in 07 Barely Branded in my next favorite. It is the perfect cream eyeshadow for me. It almost matches my skin tones but still gives a pretty sheen to my eyelids. This eyeshadow looks good with any color and makes them pop. This is another thing that can easily be worn by itself or with other eyeshadows.

My last Favorite is the L'Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Wet Shine Stain in Pink Resistance 183. This is a mixture of a gloss with the look, but also a stain. With the likeness of a stain it has great pigmentation and lasting power and isn't sticky. I would recommend putting a lip balm underneath to moisture your lips. I would really like to try more colors of this product!

I hope you enjoyed if you would like to watch the video click the link,

Have a good day!
