Makeup Inventory/ Collection: Foundations & BB Creams

I started a series on my YouTube Channel, showing my makeup inventory. I thought I would also show it here and talk about my favorites and my goals. I thought this would be a quick reference and summary of the video. A new video and blog post will be up each Saturday!

Foundations
Inventory:4

1. Loreal Magic Nude Liquid to Powder Foundation- This was on clearance so I decided to pick it up. We will see how it goes.

2. Almay Smart Shade Smart Balance in Light/Medium (Next Up)- I recieved this and the next foundation from my sister-in-law, I think I will mix them and they will be the next ones I try and use up.

3. Almay Smart Shade in Light Medium (Next Up)- See above.

4. Neutrogena Healthy Skin (Currently Using)- This is not my favorite. It is currently in my January Project Pan so hopefully we can use it up by the end of this month. It has no lastly power on my face.

Goal: 1-2
* The tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation is one of my Favorites

BB Creams
Inventory: 4

1. L'oreal Silky Sheer BB Cream- This was on clearance, so I decided to pick it up and try it out. I think it will be good in the summer time.

2. L'oreal Age Perfect BB Cream in Light/Medium (Currently Using)- This BB Cream is okay.  It has a light coverage and matches my skin pretty well. I do prefer a BB Cream with a little more coverage power.

3. Marcelle BB Cream Golden Glow- I received this in my Birchbox and I have been trying it out. I think this is a nice product, but it is not my favorite.

4. Cool Natural BB Cream- THIS IS ONE OF MY TWO FAVORITES!! Check below for my drugstore favorite. I bought this after getting a sample in my Birchbox and falling in love!

Goal: 1-2

*The Coola and the Garnier BB Cream are the two I would LOVE!

Thanks for taking the time to read this post! Come back each Saturday for a new look into a section of my inventory! I hope this next year to continue to use up the products that I have and shrink these two categories just a bit so I can have a reasonable collection.

Lip Product Project Pan Finale

Welcome back! This is my finale to my Lip Product Project Pan. I hope you enjoyed these updates. I will be doing a Pan that Palette this year and because of this lip products are going into my monthly project pans!  (January's went up Tuesday!)

1. My nail polish project pan was going nowhere and I don't have a huge problem buying nail polish

2. I have A LOT of lip products that I need to get through and I tend to randomly buy/get them.

I have chosen two lip balms, two lipsticks, a lip stain and seven lip glosses that I want to want to finish these up by December 31st.

Lipstick

1. Covergirl Lipstick in Sweetheart - I put this in my January Project Pan to use it up! I am want this lipstick out of my life!

LipBalm

2. The Body Shop Born Lippy Raspberry Lip Balm- I didn't have consisted use so I am be continuing to work on this in the upcoming months.

LipStain

3. L'Oreal Paris Colour Caresse Wet Shine Lip Stain in Pink Resistance- This is the second project I put in my January project pan to try and us e it up. I have no idea the amount of progres because of the packaging.

Lipgloss

4. Covergirl Wetslicks AmazeMint in Un-wined- I am so close to finishing this I had to take the stopper out and it is ALMOST gone, hopefully soon because I have backups of this shade.

5. C.O. Bigelow Organics in Strawberry and Cream- This was the third lip product that went into my January Project Pan hopefully this will be finished my the end of January.

6. POP Aqua Lauger in Flowering Fuchsia- As you can tell I didn't make some progress this month. I will be probably picking this back up in the springtime to see if I can finish it.

Finished Products

1. Life is Good Lipbalm- I am so happy this is finished. I wasn't super moisturizing and didn't seem to last long on my lips.

2. E.L.F. lipgloss in Oasis- I accidently took the stopper out in March and it became a mess. I really did like the color but with the stopper situation I am glad to have it finished.

3. Covergirl Shine Blast in 825 Smolder- I finished it! I am so excited that another lipgloss bit the dust. I really like the formula and texture. Luckily, I have another one! :)

4. Avon Lipstick in Frozen - This is similar to the Covergirl lipstick with the frosty effect which I am again not a fan of and won't repurchase.

5. Avon Glazewear Extreme in Coral Crush - I loved this color and formula and I am sad to see it go!

6. Bare Essential Lip Guard in Pebble Beach- I had placed this in my car, and it worked well to finish it. I am glad that I have other shades because the formula was awesome!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know if you are doing a project pan because I was love to see it! Have a wonderful day!

January 2016 Project Pan Introduction

It is the beginning of the month and that means time to introduce you to this month's project pan.  The products I have chose might not be used up in the month but I want to focus on them and make some decent progress. Even if I product isn't finished it might or might not be in the next month's project pan.

Listed below are the products I chose to focus on for January:

1. Covergirl Lipstick in Sweetheart - I was hoping I could finish this by 2016, no such luck. I am hoping this month I can finish it since it is not my favorite.

2. L'Oreal Paris Colour Caresse Wet Shine Lip Stain in Pink Resistance- I plan on using this every day before work and see if there is any visible progress.

3. C.O. Bigelow Organics in Strawberry and Cream- I plan on keeping this with me and using it EVERY time my lips feel dry and hopefully I can move it out of my collection this month.

4. Ulta Blush in Splendor and Bronzer- I didn't hit pan last month, that is my goal for the bronzer this month. I plan on using the bronzer daily and the blush every once and awhile.

5. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk- This was in earlier monthly project pans and I have hit pan. This month I want to see how much I can use up because this is a product I want to finish in 2016.

6. Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation- I haven't put in a foundation but this one will be easy to track progress which I think will really help my motivation.

I hope you enjoyed the products I picked out for my January Project Pan. I will have the update to my January Project Pan up in two weeks! Have a wonderful day!

Makeup Inventory/Collection 2016: Primers & Face Powders

I started a series on my YouTube Channel, showing my makeup inventory. I thought I would also show it here and talk about my favorites and my goals. I thought this would be a quick reference and summary of the video. A new video and blog post will be up each Saturday!

Face Primers
Inventory:3

1. Covergirl Outlast All-Day Primer (Currently Using)- It does its job, but I wouldn't repurchase it.

2. Smashbox Photofinish Primer (Next Up)- I received this in my Birchbox and I have owned the full size before, however I like primers with a little bit of coverage so I will not purchase it. I will use this sample up and love it.

3. Lancome La Base Hydra Glow- I have the SWEETEST husband and he got me a few sets from Clinique and Lancome for Christmas! This is one that was not listed in my video, but is now in my collection and I am excited to use it!

Goal: 1-2
* BareMinerals Prime Time Foundation Primer is one of my favorites!

Eye Primers
Inventory: 1

1. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion (Empty)- Since I filmed the video, this eyeshadow primer has been used up! I really liked it.

2. Benefit Stay Don't Stray (Currently Using)- So far, so good with this primer. I like how it neutralizes my eyelids as well as primes.

Goal: 1-2
*E.L.F. eyeshadow primer does a great job and is a great value!

Face Powders
Inventory:2

1. Neutrogena Powder Foundation (Currently Using)- This is a pretty good powder. I don't use it by itself and for that reason it can look cakey.

2. Almay Smart Shade Smart Balance Powder (Next Up)- I bought this at a Sears Outlet. I really like that it has different shades in there to mix. I feel like it gives it more of a natural finish.

Goal: 1-2
*Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent is one of my FAVORITES!

Thanks for taking the time to read this post! Come back each Saturday for a new look into a section of my inventory! I hope this next year to continue to use up the products that I have and keep these three categories where they are so I can have a reasonable collection.

Welcome! Today I am going to share my goodies that I received in my December Birchbox. I am really excited about the products that I received.

1. Coastal Scents styleEYES in formalEYES- This was the sample that I picked this month and I am so excited to use it. I will see how much I end up using it because I am currently working on using up an eyeshadow quad.

2. Coola Classic SPF 30 Cucumber Moisturizer- I received a BB cream from them a few years back and loved it. I ended up buying a full size. I am excited to see how this works.

3. Kate Spade's Live Colorfully- I really liked getting perfumes to try out in my birchbox and I love how floral and beach like this smells.

4. Marcelle's BB Cream in Golden Glow- I am in LOVE with BB creams and I am excited to try this because I get SO fair in the winter that if this could bring a healthy glow to my face I am ALL for it!

5. WEI's Manuka Bee Venom Anti-Wrinkle Mask- I love masks and the name of this intrigues me. I am curious how well it will correct imperfections and firm my skin.

Those were all the products I received in my December Birchbox. Stop by in the middle of January to hear my thoughts on these. If you have any questions about Birchbox feel free to let me know. Have a wonderful day!

December 2015 Project Pan Update

It is the middle of the month and that means time to update you on my monthly project pan.  The products I have chose might not be used up in the month but I want to focus on them and make some decent progress. Even if I product isn't finished it might or might not be in the next month's project pan.

Listed below are the products I chose to focus on for December:

1. Avon Smooth Mineral Blush in Rose Radiance- PROGRESS!! I ended up marking where I started and I am excited with the amount of progress.

2. Laura Geller Silver Sands - I received this last year in my Birchbox and this is the first time I am using it! I haven't made that make progress, but I am enjoying using it.

3. trèStiQue Correct & Cover Concealer Crayon- I finished it! I am so excite that this is finished. I received it in my Birchbox and the formula was okay, the stick form I didn't like and the color was a little off for me.

4. Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Hot Tamale- I started using this halfway through last month, so I didn't make much visible progress. I am hoping I can start to see the edges this month.

5. Ulta Blush in Splendor and Bronzer- I didn't hit pan last month, that is my goal for the bronzer this month. I can see some progress, we will see if I can make my goal!

6. E.L.F. Eye Brightening Quad in Drama- I hit pan on one eyeshadow before I filmed the update, the next day I hit pan on another shadow! I hope to hit pan and finish most of it by the end of the month.

I hope you enjoyed the products I picked out for my November Project Pan. I will have the update to my November Project Pan up in two weeks! Have a wonderful day!

November 2015 Birchbox Review

It has been about month since I unboxed my November Birchbox. It is now time to review the products I received.

1. LOC Matte Lipstick in First Kiss- I was really excited to try this matte nude. I didn't end up wearing it much because 1. my lips were really dry 2.I am working on other lips products for my project pan 3. In the winter I need color on my lips or I look super pale.

2. Christie Brinkley Complete Clarity- Face Wash + Exfoliant = THE BEST! I really liked the face wash and I actually might end up getting it again once I have used up my backstock of face wash.

3. TempleSpa La La Lagoon Bath Gel- I love the scent of this! I won;t get it because I don't spend a lot on body wash. I find the cheap stuff still moisturizes my body.

4. MAKE Face Gloss- I have never tried a face gloss and this was STICKY!! I couldn't put it on in the morning unless I had at least an hour for it to soak in. I ended up using it in the evening and mixing it in with my other face moisturizer to make it less sticky. I did seem to help my face.

5. Bumble and Bumble Hair Oil- I love trying hair oils and I really liked this one. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a nice hair oil!

Check out the above video! I hope you enjoyed, come back next week to see what I received in my December Birchbox. Have a wonderful day!
