May 2016 Favorites, Purchases and Resolutions Update

 

This year I am going to be combining my Monthly Favorites and Purchases with my Resolutions Updates (in the Video). I hope you enjoy May's picks! 

Favorites

1. Model Co Matte Lipstick in Kitty- I received this in a Birchbox over a year ago and I have been afraid to pull it out because of it being nude. I decided to put it in a project pan this month and fell in love with it and nude lips. Check out my June Project Pan to see another nude lipstick I will hopefully fall in love with (Posted June 2nd). 

2. Mascaras ( No. 7 Maximum Volume and Loreal Telescopic Carbon Black)- I have short blond eyelashes and these two together work wonders! They had lots of length and the perfect amount of volume.

3. Mainstays Wax Melt in Strawberry Lemonade- Summer is HERE! I am loving this scent for my house. It is so summery and clean. I enjoy many of the mainstay scents check them out at your local Walmart. 

Purchases 

* This month I had NO PURCHASES! This doesn't count my Birchbox which I get every month, but pay for in August.

March 2016 Favorites & Purchase

This year I am going to be combining my Monthly Favorites and Purchases with my Resolutions Updates (in the Video). 

Favorites

1. W3ll People Bio Brightening Stick Sample- I received this in my Birchbox months ago and it was in my March Project Pan and I fell in love with it! It is the perfect color for my skin tone and gives me a perfect subtle glow. It is perfect as a base for a powder highlight or on its own. 

2. Taylor Switch Wonderstruck- My husband got this for me years ago and after all the sample and other perfumes I have owned I always have come back to this! I finally used it up this month and have missed it and realized how much of a favorite it was!

Purchase 

1.Covergirl Stay Fabulous 3-1 Foundation- I had only one foundation left and my skin seemed to be reacting to it and so I purchased this one and my skin irritation went away. I am so happy I chose this foundation.

2015 Resolutions

Honestly, I don't normally do New Years Resolutions. I make smaller goals throughout the year when I want to accomplish something. This year is going to bring a lot of changes: graduating, getting a "big girl" job, moving and who knows what else. I decided this year to have 2 resolutions. Both of them are not specific and I figure throughout the year whatever it brings that I can plan specifically what I want to do. I will have a video below if you want to watch. 

1. To be mindful of "Stuff" 

- This resolution is two fold. The first is the beginning of the year (until May) I want to focus on using things up that we own and getting rid of things we don't need before we move. Once we move this resolution is transformed it to be aware of our money and start paying off our student loans.

2. Become a Better Me

-This resolution has many parts:
~Eat Healthier 
~Get More Fit  
~Call/Text People on a Regular Basis 
~Be More Outgoing 
~Don't be as Anxious 
This resolution has many parts of things I want to get better at and goals I want to work towards. Many parts of this resolution I don't have specific goals yet, but I want to slowly work on these and see how it goes and then will add specific goals.
