NOTD: Ms. Pedicure's Red Nailpolish

For Valentine's Day I decided to go for the classic red nail polish. I noticed at my internship that I have been wearing a lot of black so, I decided to add some color with my nails. I chose a color that I have had for a long time by Ms. Pedicure. It is a gorgeous red shade, but there is no color name because it came in a spa kit and as in a sample size. Also, I wanted to let you know that my camera had a smudge on it when I took these pictures so I am sorry if it they look a little blurry. Enjoy!

NOTD: Zoya's Jules

I am sorry this is later than normal. I thought I took pictures in the early part of the week, but than on Thursday when I was going to work on the post I couldn't find the photos. So, these pictures were taken a week after I painted them (you can see how well it holds up). I chose this color because with my internship I wanted a color that was super neutral, but has some sparkle. Zoya's Jules was perfect!

NOTD: Julep Meryl

Hello! I have not done a nail post in so long! I honestly haven't been wearing nail polish. I have been so busy! This week I decided to paint my nails this color by Julep called Meryl. It is a gorgeous blue gray color. I am not a huge fan of Julep nail-polish, but I am in love this color.

NOTD: Wet N' Wild Wind Shine in Blazed

Hey! I am so sorry I am been MIA, I started summer which means classes and school. I have been pretty busy this last two weeks. We should be getting back on track, so today is a Nail Post! I love this color it is so bright and fun for summer! The Wet n' Wild Wild Shine polishes don't have the best staying power, but the color pay-off is amazing! The Blazed is a gorgeous peach/ coral color that is wonderful in the summer time!

NOTD: Electric Blue by Love My Nails

This week I decided to paint my nails a color that I have had in collection since it started, the color has come off the top. I think the color is Electric Blue by Love My Nails. I love this color, it makes your nails have a wet look that I love. This is a great transition color between winter and spring. It can look like a very dark blue and in some lights it is brighter.

I did take these pictures about 4-5 days after I painted my nail, hence why it is a little chipped. I use to love this brand when I first got into nail polish! What was your first favorite brand of nail polish? I hope you enjoyed!

NOTD: Gemma by Zoya

This week I decided to add some color to my nails. My favorite color is green so I thought a perfect winter color was be this nail polish, Gemma by Zoya. I like that in different lights it is different shades of forest green. The Zoya Website describes the color as "light muted olive green with an overlay of blue and violet duo chrome shimmer. Unique, hip and cutting-edge yet subtle enough to suit any wardrobe."

I painted my nails with three coats on Friday evening with my Essie Topcoat, and Tuesday the polish is still on perfectly. Zoya nail polishes always stay on so well!

Playoffs Week One (Saturday Games)!

I am a huge football fan! So is my husband earlier in the week we have watched some college bowl games (they were all pretty good) because we just like watching football. I am starting this post after the two games on Saturday because I have to work most of the day Sunday. Before these four games started I picked the four I wanted to win...they were the Chiefs, Eagles, Bengals, and Packers.

I wanted the Chiefs to win because my family as well as my husband's family all like the Chiefs. After half time when it was 38 -10 I thought the Chiefs had it in the bag, my husband I even talked about it. We thought if they could hold them or at least make them take awhile for each score that they could easily win. Clearly, that didn't happen and the Chiefs ended up losing my 1 to the Colts. The Colts just scored too fast for the Chiefs to hold onto their lead. Funny story (actually not SO funny) my husband tried to call and talk to his brother after the game and his brother didn't want to talk to him because he was so mad.

The next game, didn't go in my favor either. I didn't really care who won this one. I picked the Eagles because I like them more then the Saints, and I liked the idea of the young quarterback. This game had a really slow start (a battle of the defenses) but in the second half the points came and in the end the Saints won by 2 points.

Neither team that I wanted to win, won on Saturday! Hopefully Sunday will hold better luck for me! What teams did you pick?
