Pan that Palette Update #6

I am so excited to share with you the progress on the palette I am on working for 2016. I am still not sure how much I will be able to use, but this is the only palette I am using!

I received this as a perk for order over certain amount from eyeslipsface.com and never have really used it since it is SO big. The cover has since popped off and so I think it is time to move it out. It will be fun to experiment with the different colors while still having basics to fall back to.

January, I wore whatever shades I wanted. I did crush up one shade(a dark army green) because it had no pigmentation and was very chalky.

February I used the pink/red row, with some neutrals included. I hit pan 13 shades!

March, I focused on the light green row. My plan is to focus on a color fully row each month to try and move those out so I am not left with them all at the end. I want to have pan on a few shades in the next update. I ended up panning 7 out of 12 shades.

In April, I decided to focus on the light blue row. I have hit pan on 10/12 shades. I am excited to see what happens. I have also decided this month that when I have a large amount of pan on a shadow I will be crushing it up because it becomes too messy once pan has hit.

In May I am focused on the purple column. I  really enjoyed the way that these eyeshadows look. I was never a huge fan of purple, but it is growing on me! I ended the month plus a few days in June panning 8 out of 12 shades in that column.

June, I used the four columns I have focused on and trying to use them up. I have four green shades, 1 blue shade, 4 purple shades and 5 from the pink/orange column to use up! I hope I can make some progress with them and finish them up this month!

July, was similar to June, I want to work on the four columns that I have previously been working on. The only difference because I only had 1 purple shade, 4 pink/ orange shades, 1 blue shades and 0 green shades. I decided to start working on the other blue column. I plan on working on this in both July and August, because I don't know how much makeup I will be wearing as I continue into summer.

In total I have 67 shiny pans and 2 with pan showing! I will be updating you every month and we will see how it goes! Wish me luck! Let me know if you are going to panning a palette this year!

March 2016 Project Pan Finale

It is the beginning of April and that means time for the finale of this month's project pan.  The products I have chose might not be used up in the month but I want to focus on them and make some decent progress. Even if I product isn't finished it might or might not be in the next month's project pan.
Listed below are the products I chose to focus on for March:

1. W3LL People Bio Brightening Stick Sample in Moonstone- I was so close to finishing this! I will be finishing it up in the next few days and then moving on to another highlighter (in my April Project Pan).

2. Markwins Blushes -  They are gone! Well, I am considering them done. I am so happy to have these two out of my life!

3. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe- I did make some decent progress this month and I hoping to finish it off in April!

4. Milani Color Brilliance Eye Pencil in Green- I am so happy with the amount of progress I made. I have been really working on using eyeliner every day and so this is great progress!

5. Covergirl Flipstick in Pucker- I was disappointed with the amount of progress I made on this. I was hoping to make more.

6. Liplicious If the Tiara Fits- I really like this lipgloss but like the lipstick I was hoping to make more progress. Hopefully I can finish it off before my birthday!

I hope you enjoyed the finale for my March Project Pan. I will have my introduction to my April Project Pan up on in about two days! Have a wonderful day!

NOTD: Zoya's Bevin

Long time, no nail post. It has been such a long time since I did my nails. I have been so busy that I haven't had the time or will to do my nails. I decided it was time to paint my nails again for Easter and this is the color I chose. A gorgeous dusty, medium sage green with teal tones and a creamy opaque finish. Otherwise known as, Bevin by Zoya. I love this color and it matched my Easter Dress, so I knew I had to wear it.

NOTD: Ruffian's Hedge Fund

This week was a gloomy one. I tried to get pictures of my nail polish in the sun, but it didn't happen. This week I decided to continue on the fall nail trend and go with Ruffian's Hedge Fund. I received this in my Birchbox about a year and half ago and I love it! It is perfect for this time of year. Birchbox describes the color as a green foil polish with a strong metallic finish and a hint of gold shimmer that really pops when the light hits it just right. Below are the pictures! Let me know if you think their description is right.

January 2014 Favorites!

It is the end of the month and that means it is favorites time! Every month on my Beauty Channel, I make a video showing my favorite products of the month. This month is will be live on January 31st. Here, on my blog, I post extra information and pictures then the video.

The brand & name have worn off!
1. Wet N' Wild Ultimate Sheer Tinted Moisturizer in 181A Beige -- This is a great Tinted Moisturizer, it is has SPF 15, which is great for all year round! In the summer I will wear this all on its own, it doesn't have great coverage but it does even out my skin. Right now though I have been mixing it with a moisturizer and putting that on underneath my foundation/BB cream. I love to layer moisturizers, especially in the winter time!

2.  Revlon Photo Ready Powder-- No matter what I am wearing (tinted moistuizer, BB cream or foundation) I always wear some type of powder. I feel like it sets everything into place and makes it stay for a long time. I loved the Revlon Photo Ready Powder for the long wearing and the matte finish it gave my face. I am always looking to try something new, so let me know your favorite down below.

3. Elf Highlighter & Concealer-- Most days I don't want to look flawless, I want people to be able to still see my skin, so normally I like light concealers. They hide the redness, but it doesn't look cakey. This is true for the ELF Concealer. The Highlighter is AMAZING it gives your face a glow without being shiny or shimmer. The light hits it and it looks so natural and glowy. I love it! (Hence, why it is in my favorites, right?) And it's only $3!
A swatch of the concealer & highlighter

4. Maybelline Falsies Volume Express Mascara-- Let me start by saying, I never have and don't plan on curling my lashes. I just don't see the need. I have been loving this mascara because if you can see the wand is curves so you can "curl" your lashes and bring them up just by using the wand! I only use it on the top lashes and it gives them a ton of volume.

5. Beauty Smoothie in Berrylicious-- I always use lotion when I get out of the shower. I take burning hot showers (like the knob all the way over to hot), so when I get out my body needs moisture and maybe even a little cooling. This lotion is great for that because not only does it have the lotion to moisturize there is also gel which cools my body. It feels so nice! The smell is overly sweet, but it doesn't stay on your body long so don't let that stop you!
You can see the layers of lotion & gel

6. Zoya Nail polish in Dove-- I won't spend too much time on this because I made a whole blog post on it, with tons of pictures so go check it out!

7. STASH Chai Green Tea-- I love tea, especially green tea. This chai green tea is okay, but I know how to make it Great (for me anyways). First, I start with hot water, I then add sugar in there with some additional cold water. After those are all mixed I add the tea bag and it is delicious! I like cold tea better then hot, so that is how I normally make it but this tea is good hot too!
This tea is also 100 % natural!

NOTD: Gemma by Zoya

This week I decided to add some color to my nails. My favorite color is green so I thought a perfect winter color was be this nail polish, Gemma by Zoya. I like that in different lights it is different shades of forest green. The Zoya Website describes the color as "light muted olive green with an overlay of blue and violet duo chrome shimmer. Unique, hip and cutting-edge yet subtle enough to suit any wardrobe."

I painted my nails with three coats on Friday evening with my Essie Topcoat, and Tuesday the polish is still on perfectly. Zoya nail polishes always stay on so well!

Playoffs Week One (Saturday Games)!

I am a huge football fan! So is my husband earlier in the week we have watched some college bowl games (they were all pretty good) because we just like watching football. I am starting this post after the two games on Saturday because I have to work most of the day Sunday. Before these four games started I picked the four I wanted to win...they were the Chiefs, Eagles, Bengals, and Packers.

I wanted the Chiefs to win because my family as well as my husband's family all like the Chiefs. After half time when it was 38 -10 I thought the Chiefs had it in the bag, my husband I even talked about it. We thought if they could hold them or at least make them take awhile for each score that they could easily win. Clearly, that didn't happen and the Chiefs ended up losing my 1 to the Colts. The Colts just scored too fast for the Chiefs to hold onto their lead. Funny story (actually not SO funny) my husband tried to call and talk to his brother after the game and his brother didn't want to talk to him because he was so mad.

The next game, didn't go in my favor either. I didn't really care who won this one. I picked the Eagles because I like them more then the Saints, and I liked the idea of the young quarterback. This game had a really slow start (a battle of the defenses) but in the second half the points came and in the end the Saints won by 2 points.

Neither team that I wanted to win, won on Saturday! Hopefully Sunday will hold better luck for me! What teams did you pick?

Thanks for reading,
