March 2016 Birchbox Review

It has been a month since I got my March Birchbox so it is time to review it. This month I again chose the curated box and since it was March and it was the Ready for Anything beauty box. I am so excited to review these products for you.

1. Smashbox Photo Op Eye Shadow Trio in Filter- I really liked this trio! I am excited that I have the full exposure palette from the same Smashbox for when my pan that palette is finished.

2. Wilma Schumann Hydrating Collagen Eye Pads- I haven't have a chance to use these, but check out my April empties to see my thoughts!

3. Milk Studios in C.R.E.A.M. - I LOVE this color! I was so excited for the lipstick! I plan on purchasing the full size once I use up a few lipstick because it was great!

4. Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream- I really liked this face cream. I won't repurchase because it was good but not outstanding so I am still on the hunt for the perfect one.

5. PARLOR by Jeff Chasten Smoothing Blowout Spray- This was supposed to be volumizing and add shine. I didn't notice any additional volume or shine when I was using this!

I hope you enjoyed this quick post of my March Birchbox Reivew. Come back in two days to see what I received in my April Birchbox. Hope you have a wonderful day!

Pan that Palette #3

I am so excited to share with you the palette I plan on working on in 2016. I am not sure how much I will be able to use, but this is the only palette I amusing!

I received this as a perk for order over certain amount from eyeslipsface.com and never have really used it since it is SO big. The cover has since popped off and so I think it is time to move it out. It will be fun to experiment with the different colors while still having basics to fall back to.

For March, I focused on the light green row. My plan is to focus on a color fully row each month to try and move those out so I am not left with them all at the end. I want to have pan on a few shades in the next update. For March I plan on focusing on the green row. Ended up panning 7 out of 12 shades.
February I used the pink/red row, with some neutrals included. I have hit pan 13 shades! In January, I did crush up one shade(a dark army green) because it had no pigmentation and was very chalky.

In April, I decided to focus on the light blue row. I have hit pan on 6/12 shades. I am excited to see what happens. I have also decided this month that when I have a large amount of pan on a shadow I will be crushing it up because it becomes too messy once pan has hit.

I will update you every month and we will see how it goes! Wish me luck! Let me know if you are going to panning a palette this year!

March 2016 Empties & Declutter

Welcome to the beginning of April, which means it is empties time! To watch the video click the video below! I split this post into three categories: makeup, beauty! Enjoy!

Makeup Empties

1. The Body Shop Born Lippy in Raspberry (Not Repurchase)- I am so glad this is finished this. It was a good lip balm, but I am a fan of them in potted forms.

2/3. Markwins Pink and Coral Blushes (Not Repurchase)- These originally came out of a palette with a lot of other eyeshadows. I am happy to have these done because they were depotted but they didn't have a magnetic back so it was hard to store them. They were super pigmented but they weren't very blendable.

4. Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie (Might Repurchase)- I love these lip products I have had this for a long time so I was so happy to see this used up!

5. Loreal Age Perfect (Not Repurchase)- While this is almost finished, it is a DECLUTTER, it started to oxidize and made me look like a pumpkin. I tried to mix it with foundation and it was still too orange. Even before it oxidized I could;t wear it on its own. It had no coverage and the color was a little off.

6. C.O. Bigelow Methea Lip Balm Sitck (Not Repurchase)- This balm had a great minty scent and it moisturized my lips so well! I won't repurchase it because it causes my lips to turn white which obviously is not attractive.

7. Loreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder (Not Repurchase)- I got this on clearance about a year ago and it was finally time to pull it out. As I started wearing it, I realized that it was not long longwearing and it patched off. I tried different primers and nothing helped. About month after I started using it, I started to get bumps on my face and when I stopped using this they disappeared.

8. Lancome La Base Pro Hydra Glow (Not Repurchase)- My husband gave me a Lancome set for Christmas and I was excited to use this. I really liked the affect it  gave my skin, but it did;t seem to hold on my makeup on so I wouldn't repurchase it.

9./10./11. Mascara- Last month I did my makeup collection and inventory with my mascaras. While filming that video I realize some of them had gone bad so they went straight to the empties bucket.

Beauty Empties

12. Taylor Swift Wonderstruck (Might Repurchase)- My husband gave me this a few years ago for Christmas and I loved the scent! It is definitely something I would think about purchasing one all my other scents are used up, but who knows by that time if my tastes will have changed.

13. SmartBrow Brow Cleanser (Not Repurchase)- This came with an eyebrow product my mom gave me, that has long since been used up. When I found this in my drawer I started using it to get off my eye makeup and it worked wonderfully.

14. Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish (Not Repurchase)- I just used this as a regular cleanser. I wouldn't repurchase it because it was nothing special.

15. Julep Sicilian Orange Foot Soak (Not Repurchase)- I received this in a Julep Maven Box and never really had a place to use it. Since being in my own home and having a bathtub I have been using it when I take baths. I really like the smell, but I have other bath products I want to try.

16. Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Hand Sanitizer (Might Repurchase)- I keep one of these by my bathroom sink to use while I am doing my makeup. I will always have sanitizer by my sink,  I don't know if I will be getting a different brand. I do love the Bath and Body Works scents.

17. Olay Soothing Cucumber Body Bar with Massasing Design (Not Repurchase)- I received this from someone (I can't remember) and I am not a huge fan of bar soap but I thought I would just use it up. I didn't like it at all. It was not moisturizing, and little pieces consistently fell off. Even if I were to buy a bar soap this is not the one I would purchase.

18./19. Dry Shampoos (Not Repurchase)- Dry shampoo is a staple in my collection. I usually stick with the Blonde Batiste, but they were out when I went to the store. I tried these and while the Batiste was good and smelled WONDERFUL it left my hair with white patches and the Sauve made my hair feel nice but it still looked greasy.

And those were my February Empties!  By the end of 2015, I want to have 300 products. I had 55 products in January and February  and now in March there were 19 for a total of 74 products which is pretty good!

Let me know your favorite drugstore foundation below! Have a wonderful day!

April 2016 Project Pan Introduction

It is the beginning of April and that means time for the introduction of this month's project pan.  The products I have chose might not be used up in the month but I want to focus on them and make some decent progress. Even if I product isn't finished it might or might not be in the next month's project pan.
Listed below are the products I chose to focus on for April:

1. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe- I was hoping to made a decent dent in this product and maybe even finish it up by the end of March. I didn't finish it but I am hoping to finish it up by April. It is my least favorite Color Tattoo so I want it gone.

2. Liplicious If the Tiara Fits- I really like the gloss, but I will be turning 25 this month and this is just something I don't want in my life anymore.

3. Ulta Splendor and BronzerI was hoping to finish the bronzer and kale a dent in the bus this month, however after this picture was taken and the video was filmed I dropped it so I had to repress it so I am hoping to hit some major pan on it this month!

4. Eyes Lips Face All Over Color stick in Pink Lemonade- I have had this for WAY too long. I am hoping to make a big dent in this over the next month and hope to use it up.

5. Color Trend Eyeliner in Brown- Every month I have put in an eyeliner just to make sure jam using them and making some progress, even it is is tiny progress.

6. Benfit's High Beam- I finished off my last highlighter so I thought why not throw one into to this month's project!

7. No. 7 Lipstick in Smooth - I have been working through lip products this year so here comes another one. I am hoping since it is a softer lipstick that it will be used up quicker, we will see.

I hope you enjoyed the introduction to see the products I picked out for my April Project Pan. I will have my update to my April Project Pan up on in about two weeks! Have a wonderful day!

March 2016 Favorites & Purchase

This year I am going to be combining my Monthly Favorites and Purchases with my Resolutions Updates (in the Video).

Favorites

1. W3ll People Bio Brightening Stick Sample- received this in my Birchbox months ago and it was in my March Project Pan and I fell in love with it! It is the perfect color for my skin tone and gives me a perfect subtle glow. It is perfect as a base for a powder highlight or on its own.

2. Taylor Switch Wonderstruck- My husband got this for me years ago and after all the sample and other perfumes I have owned I always have come back to this! I finally used it up this month and have missed it and realized how much of a favorite it was!

Purchase

1.Covergirl Stay Fabulous 3-1 Foundation- I had only one foundation left and my skin seemed to be reacting to it and so I purchased this one and my skin irritation went away. I am so happy I chose this foundation.

Those were my Favorites and Purchases for March! Let me know what your favorites were down below! Have a wonderful day!

3. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe- I did make some decent progress this month and I hoping to finish it off in April!
