July 2014 Birchbox Unobxing

It's that time of the month when I get my Birchbox, it is so fun to get it in the mail each month. This month teamed up with Women's Health, and the box was super cute!

1. Cynthia Rowley Beauty Silver Eyeliner- I am excited to try out this eyeliner because I have been wearing black liner on my top lid and so I think the silver won't look as harsh and it will be fun to build up.

2. Harvey Prince Hello Body Cream- I love trying out different body creams and they are also the perfect size to throw in my purse and leave on my desk. I am not usually one that dwells on packaging but the bright yellow is perfect for the summer time and it's just super cute I am excited to have this set on my desk and brighten it up!

3. Number 4 Super Comb Prep & Protect- Every time I get out of the shower I have to put a detangler in my hair or I will never be able to get all the tangles out. Two months ago I received the shampoo and conditioner from this brand and I loved them so I am excited to see if I love this just as much!

4. Supergoop! Daily Correct CC Cream SPF 35- CC cream is the best thing ever! I love CC creams because they do so many things. I really like that it has SPF because in the summer my face for sure needs a high SPF.

5. SmaryPants All-in-One Gummy Vitamins for Adults- I love gummy vitamins! So getting this is awesome!

E.L.F. Mineral Facial Cleanser Review

I know I have done a lot of E.L.F. (eyeslipsface) products, but this one I had to review because it is so different from anything I have ever tried! This product is a powder face cleanser! 


Pros 
-It is only $6 
-It really cleans your face

Cons
-It smells HORRIBLE and soapy 
-It takes a lot of water to lather up

Overall, I won't be repurchasing this product because it takes too much water to lather and it smells SO bad. I did reviews on this after I noticed the smell, other people have had the same issue while others have said theirs wasn't as bad.

June 2014 Birchbox Review

It's Review Time! I am going to review my June Birchbox the original post is here. Enjoy this review!

1. Cynthia Rowley Beauty Creamy Lip Stain in Valentine- I love this lip stain! It is a gorgeous coral color and perfect for summer. It stays out for quiet awhile and then when it fades it looks good which I love! I would definitely recommend this lip stain!

2. Dr. Hauschka Lemon Lemongrass Vitalising Body Wash- This body was smelled SO GOOD! I am in love with the lemon scent! I will not be purchasing the full-size only because it is pretty expensive and I have other body washes I like better. 

3. Joi Folle de Joie Eau de Parfum- This parfum smells so good! It is the perfect blemd of a light floral fresh scent. I would  recommend it but again it is pretty expensive, but I might have to get it in the future. 

4. Mally Beauty Volumizing Mascara- This is AMAZING! I love this mascara, even though I don't find it volumizing it created such length for me! It is a very wet formula and I love it! To see the comparison of the Mally Volumizing make sure you watch the video.

5. Perlier Body Cream in Shea Almond- This lotion moisturizes pretty well. It is a little light of a formula for a cream. I wasn't a fan of the smell and like the body wash above, I have body creams I love more so I won't be getting the full size.

E.L.F. Baked Blush in Pinktastic Review

E.L.F.'s Baked Blush in Pinktastic is amazing! This product was mentioned in my June Favorites and it is great! 

Pros 

• This product is Cheap it is only $3 (eyelipsface.com or possibly Target) 
• It has great pigmentation! 
• This color would work great on a lot of skin tones because it just adds the perfect amount of shimmer to any look! 
• It is build-able, if you want a little you can or you can build it up and it never looks cakey!  

Cons   

• The packaging is a little hard to get into 

As you can see this baked blush is a great product! IT is perfect for the summer time! I hope you enjoyed! Have a great week!

June 2014 Empties (Part 2)

Hey! Today's post is the second part of my June empties, Part 1 is here. I hope you enjoy this post and are liking these posts about products I have used up! I know I get excited every month seeing the products I have used! If you have a lot of excess beauty products I would really recommend doing this because it feels like you are making progress!

1. Bath and Body Works Pink Sugarplum Fragrance Mist (Not Repurchase)- This summer I am living at my in-laws and our cat's are living in the room with us. In short, our room smells most of the time. I have been using some Febreze to get rid of the odor and then added this on top and it made the room smell so good! I loved the scent of this, so I might have to get the body cream if they come back out with this scent again during the winter months. I am not going to be purchasing any more fragrance mists. 

2. Head and Shoulders Green Apple Dandruff Shampoo (Might Repurchase)- This shampoo smelled amazing! I switched up how I washed my hair in the middle of using this products so I think that helped my dry scalp. I would repurchase this for the smell, not becasue it is a dandruff shampoo.

4. No.4 Fleurs de Temps Volumizing Condition (Not Repurchase)- I got this in my May Birchbox. I only got a few uses out of it, but I am very happy with my Aussie 3-minute miracle, so I won't purchase the full size.

5. Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash (Repurchase)- I received this in my Birchbox months ago and I started using this with an exfoliate which worked so well. I want to purchase the full size once I have used up some of my other face washes. 

6. SHU UEMURA Art of Hair Essence Absolue Nourishing Protective Oil (Not Repurchase)- I also received this in my Birchbox over a year ago and found it when I was moving this last December and started using it a few months ago. I liked putting in my hair after I showered. I will not be repurchasing this because I love other hair oils better.

   

7. Befine Lip Serum (Not Repurchase)- I have had this lip serum for three years and I finally used it up! I used it mainly in the morning before I put on my makeup. I liked it, but wasn't in love with it so I won't repurchase this.

8. E.L.F. Tinted Moisturizer (Not Repurchase)- I did a review on this product and if you saw that I was so glad to see this products go!

NOTD: Julep's Sarah

Happy 4th of July! I hope you all are having an amazing day! I realized that I wore my blue nail polish last week and so the only color I had that was closest to red, white or blue was Julep's Sarah. This color is a sheer pink coral with iridescent glitter. It is a gorgeous color, I am not a huge fan of Julep nail polishes but this one is better than others I have tried.

June 2014 Empties (Part 1)

Hey! Today's post is about Products that I have used up and if I would repurchase them again! I am working on using products up so this is Part 1 Part 2 will be coming soon! Enjoy! 

1. John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Lightening Conditioner (Repurchase)- I love this conditioner! I purchase both the shampoo and conditioner every year to maintain my natural light hair during the winter and fall to prevent some fading!

2. Folle de Joie Eau de Parfum (Might Repurchase)-  This perfume is a fresh-sexy scent. I love it, it is something completely different then I usually I wear. The only thing is that I don't like is that the full size is $98, which is too much for me to spend right now, so I don't know if I will end-up getting it.

3. Neutrogena Skin Clearing Oil-Free Make-Up (Might Repurchase)- I really liked this foundation. I have had this foundation for such a long time, but I didn't want to use it up, but I finally did this month. I have a lot of foundations that I want to try before I repurchase any other foundations. 

4. Wet N' Wild Coverall Pressed Powder (Not Repurchase)- I tried this product out because it was really cheap and I needed a powder. I didn't like this product because they didn't have a transparent color. Transparent colors seems to look less cakey because that is my complaint is that this product was really cakey. This was really true on my drier areas, my more oily areas it worked well on. 

5. Mally Volumizing Mascara (Might Repurchase)- I got this mascara in my Birchbox in a little while ago and I fell in love with it. This mascara is a very wet formula that I think gives more length then volume, but gives both! I might not purchase this mascara for a similar reason as the parfum because it is more expensive and I love cheaper mascaras that I like. 

5. John Frieda Frizz-Ease Daily Nourishment Leave-in Conditioning Spray (Repurchase)- This is the best hair product ever! I love this product, it is a great leave in conditioner. It left my hair soft and never greasy and helped my hair not get tangled which usually happens a lot. I will definitely get this again once I use up some other detangling products that I have.
