March Birchbox Review

Welcome back! I have been using my March Birchbox for a month now and it is time for a review! 

 

1. Supergoop's Advanced Anti-Aging Eye Cream- I was not a fan of this eye cream. I tried this so many ways and almost every time I put it on it would crease and flake off, It didn't seem to moisturize or do anything for under my eyes. I am glad it is a smaller container because after a month of trying it, it is finished and will be included in my April Empties. 

 

2. Whish Three Wishes Body Butter in Almond- I am torn with this product. I LOVE the formula of this product. I was not a fan of the smell. I am not sure if I would purchase the full size because I like the availability of the Bath and Body works Cream over this products.

 

3. Laura Geller Beauty Baked Blush-n-Brighten in Pink Grapefruit- I am in love with this product! I would definitely recommend it! I actually have another color and love that one too! I was so excited when I got this in my box. 

4. derma e® Evenly Radiant® Brightening Day Crème SPF 15-This product was pretty heavy during this time of year, I ended up mixing it with my daily moisturizing lotion and it worked wonderfully! I am excited to continue using this!

5. Dear Clark Volumizing Tonic- I tried using this right when I got out of the shower before I put my hair up into a towel and it always make my hair greasy. I keep my hair in a towel until it i about 50% dry and then I let it air dry and that is when I ended up putting this product in and it made my hair have noticeable volume which is remarkable!

Unboxing Haul: April Birchbox & Influenster

This month with my video and blog schedule getting a little messed up I decided to combine some videos. So this post is my April Birchbox Unboxing, Birchbox shop order and a voxbox from influenster. So I hope you enjoy! 

April Birchbox 

 

1. Obliphica Intensive Hair Serum- I have been in need of a good hair serum! All the ones i have been trying have been letting me down, so hopefully this does the trick!

2.  POP Beauty POP Portfolio Eyeshadow Palette- I am SO excited to try these eyeshadows! I really like the colors I received (they are apart of a bigger palette), they pair perfectly with the eyeshadows in my project pan!  

3. Whish Shave Crave Shaving Cream in Blueberry-  I am interested to try this because normally to shave my legs I use lotion because my shower is WAY too small to shave in. I do really like the scent. 

4. Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel- I am excited to try this because I have never tried a product like this. My skin does love physical exfoliants, so we will see how it likes chemicals.

5.  jane iredale Just Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain in Forever Pink- I currently have a project pan going on with a cream blush, so I will probably use this more as a lip product then a cheek product, but we will se. 

Birchbox Shop Order 

1. Yes To™ Coconut Hydrating Facial Towelettes- I have never tried these and I ended up buying them because I wanted to use all my points (see the video for more explanation). These wipes are suppose to hydrate and restore your skin. I thought this would be perfect right before/after the gym to refresh my face. 

2. Coastal Scents® Revealed 2 Palette- I have wanted to Naked 3 since before it even came out! I couldn't justify the price. I decided to purchase this palette because it is suppose to be a dupe and I have heard Coastal Scents is suppose to be great quality and I wanted to test it out! 

3. Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Starter Kit- I got the cream as a sample in my Birchbox and loved it! I am excited to have it again. I have also heard great things about the Liquid so we will see how it goes! 

4. Juice Beauty Green Apple Brightening Gel Cleanser and Age Defy Moisturizer- If you spent over $35, this was a free gift. I have never tried either of these. I have tried a face mask and over it. The green apple smell is amazing, so I am excited to try these two products. 

Samples & Extras 

5. Mighty Leaf Tea- I have gotten this as a sample before and loved it. I am excited to try these different flavors. 

6. Davines Replumping Shampoo and Conditioner- I have gotten this before and I did feel like it gave volume to my hair. I didn't like the way smelled, so I mixed them with a better smelling products.

7. W3LL PEOPLE Bio Brightener Stick in Moonstone- I also recieved this in my birchbox earlier this year and I love it! I am excited to get another one, even though this is going to take me forever to use up. 

Influenster 

1. Carefree Liners- "I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes." I am excited to share more of my thoughts about them, so keep a look out on my social media!

NOTD: Zoya's Bevin

Long time, no nail post. It has been such a long time since I did my nails. I have been so busy that I haven't had the time or will to do my nails. I decided it was time to paint my nails again for Easter and this is the color I chose. A gorgeous dusty, medium sage green with teal tones and a creamy opaque finish. Otherwise known as, Bevin by Zoya. I love this color and it matched my Easter Dress, so I knew I had to wear it.

#HelloKeurig Unboxing

I am so excited about this post! I received a Keurig from Influencer (for free) and I had to share it with you all! Just a disclaimer, they aren't paying me to review/ unbox it, I did get it for free. I am going to show you everything that came in my box. This is the Keurig 2.0 model 250, which comes out in May. I hope you enjoy! 

First, of course it came with the machine. This Keurig is black, has a black and white touch display, can do 9 different cup sizes and has a 40 oz water reservoir. 

Second, it came with a descaling solution and Brewer Maintenance Accessory. I was happy to see these, so I can make sure this stays nice and clean. 

Third, it came with a water filter. I liked this because I don't have to use the water from my Brita. 

Fourth, it came with a 6 pack of sample coffees and who doesn't love that? 

Fifth, it came with more Green Mountain Coffees to sample. Yes please! 

Of course it came with directions and such. The only thing I am not too sure about is with the 2.0 Keurigs you have to use certified K-cups and I have one that I use for my own coffee that I am not sure if I will be able to use in this one. If I can't, it will definitely be a con, I don't do it too often, but when I see ground coffee on sale that smells amazing I want to be able to use it.

March 2015 Empties

Welcome to the beginning of April! Which means it is empties time! To watch the video click HERE! I split this post into four categories: makeup, beauty, Random and Project pan Empties! Enjoy! 

Makeup Empties

 

1. The Balm's Stainatice (Not Repurchase)- I received this in a Birchbox years ago. When I started my Makeup Collection/Inventory I found it and use it, but I wasn't a huge fan of it. I couldn't get it to blend very easily. 

 

2. E.L.F. Acne Fight Foundation (Repurchase)- I loved this stuff! To hear more of my thoughts check out my March Favorites! 

 

3. PUR 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup (Not Repurchase)- I like powders that are transparent. Also,  this powder didn't wow me, and I have others that I like much better.  I received this in my birchbox about a year ago. 

 

4. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder (Repurchase)- I LOVE this powder. It never makes my makeup look cakey, but it sets it beautifully! I like that it is inexpensive and easily accessible. 

Beauty Empties 

 

5. Bumble and Bumble Grooming Creme (Not Repurchase)- My mom gave this to me and I used it when my hair was damp to bring some moisture in my hair. It worked well, but I my hair doesn't need a special product for that. I want to get a spray that gives moisture plus other things as well. 

 

6. Borghese Fango Active Mud (Repurchase)- This was the first mud mask I ever tried and I loved it. I have wanted to purchase the full size, so I was holding on to this sample. I have other mud masks that I have gotten from Birchbox (see below) and I will most likely repurchase this one once I get finished with those. 

 

7. Crest Pro- Health Whitening Toothpaste (Might Repurchase)- I am currently using an armour hammer toothpaste that my husband and I both like, so I might repurchase this. I really liked this and I felt like my teeth did look a little bit whiter. 

 

8. Royal Apothic Cuppa Cuppa Exfoliating Firming Tea Mask (Might Repurchase)- I received this in my Birchbox at the beginning of this year and loved it! Click here to see my initial impression. The reason it's not a for sure repurchase is the packaging, the full size comes in the container pictured above (just more of them). I don't like the packing, it's really hard to get the product out. 

9. Korres Showergel in Bergamot Pear (Not Repurchase)- I loved the smell and how it made my skin feel. I won't repurchase this because it is not any better than cheap drugstore body washes in my eyes. 

10. Batiste Dry Shampoo in Light & BLonde (REPURCHASE)- Of all my March Empties this (and maybe the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder) are 100% Repurchases. I loved this stuff, it comes out a light blonde color, it makes my hair look and feel nice. IT IS AMAZING!

12. Celestial Tension Tamer Tea (Might Repurchase)- I really liked the effect this tea had on my body, it seemed to help my relax. However, I might not repurchase this because I didn't love the taste so I am going to try some others to see if they taste better. 

13. Journal (Repurchase)- I love small journals like this one to write my To-Do lists on. I clearly have had this for a long time, the picture shows the inside cover. I will continue repurchase journals, once I use the ones I have.

And those were my March Empties!  By the end of 2015, I want to have 365 empties. March (16) + February (19) + January (23) means I am (58/365)!
