October 2014 Birchbox Unboxing

Sorry this is a little late, my semester has really picked up. I hope to be a little more consistent. Here is my October Birchbox, there is so many exciting things in this Month's Box that I am excited to share.  

1. Beauty Blender and Deluxe Solid Cleanser- I am so excited to try this. I had a dupe for the beauty blender and loved it. At the beginning of October I came home and my dog had it in his mouth! It was old and I needed to throw it out anyway so I this was perfect timing. 

2. Camille Beckhams's Tuscan Honey Glycerin Hand Therapy- I think my mom had a lotion from this brand when I was little because I remember the  flower on top. I am excited to try this because it smells good I just hope it moisturizes well, as we get into the colder months.  

3. Dr. Brandt's Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner- I don't struggle with blackheads except a little on my nose. This product is also suppose to smooth out my skin, so I will be curious to see how well it does.I am also curious to see if it helps any other issues. 

4. ModelCo's Party Proof Lipstick in Kitty- Who doesn't love lipstick? I have been wanting to try a matte lipstick and this is suppose to be a moisturizing matte lipstick in a perfect fall color. Can it do all it claims? We will see. 

5. Sage and Fasten's Onward- Before I leave for school I always spray on a spritz of perfume, but I feel like sometimes throughout the day I need a little pick me up. I think this roller ball will do a great job with its light citrus scent.

NOTD: Sally Hansen'd Advanced Hard as Nails in Jewel Frost

This week I was looking at my nail polishes and deciding which one to to pick, I finally  decided on this perfect fall color. I have had this nail polish for SO long but it still works perfectly so I continue to use it. That being said I am not entirely sure of the color I think it is Sally Hansen's Advanced Hard as Nails in Jewel Frost, if you know for sure let me know below. Enjoy!

September 2014 Birchbox Review

Today, we are going to review my September Birchbox. This box was so fun to try!

1. Davines Oi All in One Milk- I loved this hair mist! It did detangle my hair and create some shine. The best part of of this spray is that it seemed to help my hair not become not so greasy which is always a great thing! I am not sure how this product has helped over other hair sprays that I have used but I definitely noticed a difference when I used a different hair spray once this month.

               
          1a. Davines Shampoo & Conditioner- This shampoo and conditioner are good, they aren't                anything special. I like other shampoos and conditioner just as well these.

2. Dr. Jart+ BB Black Label Detox- This product has a great consistency and color and I absolutely love it! The only thing with this is that I think it might be breaking me out I am going to take a break from this and see if my face clears up, so I will let you know!

3. Harvey Prince Ageless Liquid Loofah- I was so disappointed in this product. It did smell so good (vanilla and grapefruit), but it didn't exfoliate at all! I love body washed that can also exfoliate, I always mix an exfoliant in with body washed I fell like it keeps my skin soft and fresh.

4. Mereadeso All-In-One Moisturizer- I am not sure how I feel about this product. I didn't notice anything major when I used this. I am going to continue it to try it and let you know. It does go on a little sticky, but it does seem to moisturize pretty well.

5. Temptu S/B Highlighter in Champagne Shimmer- I love highlighters and this is a gorgeous color. I am not a fan of it for me because it it too dark for my skin tone. I will probably use it in the summer when I am a little tanner.

September Empties #2

Hey! It's time to do the second part of my empties! Click here to see the first part! 

Tresemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo (Not Repurchase) -This is my second bottle of this Dry Shampoo and both bottles have broken. When I was able to try it worked pretty well, but with two bottles breaking shortly after I start using the product I won’t repurchase.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle (Repurchase) - This product is amazing! Currently, I am using another hair mask, but I still think I like this product more, we will have to see! This product makes my hair so soft! Click here to watch a video I made when I reviewed this product.  

E.L.F. Mineral Infused Facial Cleanser (Not Repurchase)- This product was different than any other facial cleanser. It is a powder that you have to get wet to foam up to wash my face. To get the powder out it made a huge mess and it smelled really weird. Click here to watch a full review!

Korres Body Butter in Bergamot Pear (Might Repurchase)-  This body butter is so thick! It works and moisturizes incredibly well! The smell is a Fruity-Green Floral with a Watery Accord which I love. The only thing it is almost too thick, so I sometimes I had to mix in other lotions to get it to rub in!

VMV Hypoallergenics Re-everything Face Hand and Body Cream (Not Repurchase)- This lotion smells horrible! I got this in my Birchbox a few months ago and I was so disappointed in the smell! I did think it moisturized pretty well, but I won’t repurchase it because of the smell.

Covergirl Tinted Moisturizer (Not Repurchase)-  I got this tinted moisturizer years ago and absolutely loved it! Since then BB Creams have captured my heart. This is a good product, but I personally prefer BB creams so I won’t repurchase it.

Arquiste in Flor y Canto (Not Repurchase)-  This perfume is not a scent that I like. They describe the scent as: a scent that evokes an Aztec summer festival in Tenochtitlan circa 1400. Wear it to be transported to a dimly lit temple altar filled with fresh flowers.

Maybelline Expert wear Eye shadow in Mocha Motion (Might Repurchase)-  I have had this eye shadow for so long! I loved it! I used the darker color for my eyebrows and neutral as always great. I might not repurchase this because I have other neutral eye shadows that I want to try and that will be a little better quality.

Old Navy Brilliant Lip gloss (Not Repurchase)-  This lip gloss has been my favorite for such a long time! I decided to use it up because there was such a little amount left.  I loved this color and consistency. The reason I say I won’t be repurchasing this is because I haven’t been able to find it again.

E.L.F. Highlighter & Under Eye Concealer (Not Repurchase)-  This product has a concealer that is really light and takes a lot of layering to get it to hide anything. The highlighter is great! It is just a slight shimmer, so I might have to see if E.L.F. sells just the highlighter by itself. I won’t buy the duo again because I feel the concealer is a dud.

1. Sun-in Hair Lightener in Tropical Breeze (Not Repurchase)- This lightener does seem to work, so I would recommend it if you were  looking for a hair highlighter. I won’t repurchase this because it doesn’t matter to me to have my hair blonder, I bought this at a time when I had dyed my hair darker and was trying to get it back to my natural color.

2. Not Your Mothers Dry Shampoo (Might Repurchase) - This dry shampoo is pretty great! It works so well, but it does leave a little white residue. I am trying another dry shampoo that I like better so we will have to see about that.

3. Skintimate Shave Gel in Raspberry Rain (Might Repurchase) - Currently, I am using a cream hair remover, so I won’t repurchase this right now. I love this smell of this Shave gel! So if I ever need a shave gel this is the one I will get!

4. Perfumes (Viva La Juicy (Repurchase) & Couture La La (Might Repurchase)) - Both of these perfumes are very sweet!  I love sweet scents. To me both of these scents are very similar. I own a full size of Viva La Juicy, so I defiantly continue to use that and will repurchase a similar perfume to these.

5. Tea Tree Lemon and Sage Body Lotion (Might Repurchase) -This lotion smells so good! I love the lemon scent! It is not as thick as a body cream, which I normally prefer.

6. Skin 79 Super BB (Repurchase) - I loved this BB cream. When I purchased this it only came in one shade which works perfect for my pale skin but not work so well with darker skin colors. This has great natural coverage and it looks great!

7. Covergirl Freshcomplection Concealer (Not Repurchase) - This concealer is very light. I was not a fan of how much you have to layer to get the coverage I need. I will be trying out other concealers and not be repurchasing this product.

8. Lip-gloss

              Mini (Not repurchase) –My mom gave me a set of these mini lip-glosses years                     ago and they are great consistency and color. I won’t repurchase because 1. I don’t              know where to get them 2. I know other lip-glosses that I like better

                     L.A. Colors Gloss N’ Glow in Dazzling (Not Repurchase) –I will not repurchase                this lip- gloss. I did give my lips a beautiful pink color, but it burned a little when I put              it on, so I won’t be getting it again

9. Bare Minerals Prime Time Brightening (Repurchase)- This product was in my September Favorites. I absolutely love this primer! This primer works great and it also has a little tint of color that makes it even better!

NOTD: Love My Nails' Manhat Red

Who Doesn't love a classic red nail polish? This red polish is by Love My Nails and is called Manhat Red. It is a great fall color and below are some fun pictures to show you the color in different lighting!

September 2014 Favorites

It's the end of the month and that means it's favorites time! This month I found some great products that I absolutely love! 

 1. Not Your Mothers's Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray- This spray does wonders for my hair. My hair is very fine, but I have a ton of it so a lot of time it just looks like straw (not a good thing). This spray gives my hair some volume, not beach waves but I love the way it looks!

 2. Clean & Clear Morning Burst Hydrating Facial Cleanser- This cleanser is great for the morning. It has little beads that lightly exfoliate and a great scent!

 3. Bare Minerals Prime Time Brightening Foundation Primer- I got this primer years ago and have been slowly using this because I absolutely love it!

 4. Zoya Nail polish in Caitlin- This nail polish is perfect for fall! I love this color. Click here to see the blog post!

5. The Body Shop Lip Butter in Coconut- This lip butter is so moisturizing. I put it on right before I go to bed and I wake up and my lips are wonderful! I don't like that it leaves my lips with a white color and I am also not a huge fan of the coconut smell, but the product is amazing! 

5. Old Navy Brilliant Lip-gloss- I have had this lip-gloss for such a long time. I love this lip-gloss, it is a gorgeous pink-peach color and its not sticky. I have not been able to find this after I bought it, but originally I purchased this from Old Navy (Random, I know.)
