July 2016 Birchbox Unboxing

It is a new month ( I received this on July 11th) and so it is time to share with you my July Birchbox. I am really excited to try these products. Let me know if you have any questions. I do pay for this and so my opinions are my own.

1. COOLA® Environmental Repair Plus® Radical Recovery™ After-Sun Lotion- I have been working outside a lot this summer so I think this will be nice to use after I come in to nourish my skin.

2. MDSolarSciences™ Mineral Crème SPF 50 Broad Spectrum UVA-UVB Sunscreen- I am so excited to try this. Like I said above I have been working outside a lot and I have just been using normal body sunscreen for my face. I am glad I have something specifically for my face and it's SPF 50!

3.  Smashbox Cosmetics X-Rated Mascara- I have a dreamer full of mascaras and ones I really do enjoy. I am curious to see how I like this one.

4. Milk Makeup Sunshine Oil- I haven't tried too many face oils and so I am excited to give this a try. It is also suppose to be a highlighter so I am hoping it doesn't make my face look greasy.

5. Benefit gimme brow volumizing fiber gel- I have never tried a brow product from Benefit. Brows are definitely a part of makeup that I still struggle with, so I am hoping using this goes well! Wish me luck!

I hope you enjoyed my initial thoughts on these products. Around the middle of August I will have my final thoughts on them. Hopefully I can use some of them up and really let you know how I feel. Don't forget to watch the above video.

July 2016 Project Pan Update

It is the middle of July and that means time for the update of this month's project pan. The products I have chose might not be used up in the month but I want to focus on them and make some decent progress. Even if I product isn't finished it might or might not be in the next month's project pan.

Listed below are the products I chose to focus on for July:

1. Eyes Lips Face All Over Color stick in Pink Lemonade- I have been working on this for too long and I am excited to maybe have it finished within the next month. It is a gorgeous color I am just not a huge fan of cream blushes an I have quiet a few I need to use up.

** 2. Benefit's Watts Up- It is finished! I enjoyed this sample size and luckily I have another one ready to use. I don't know if I would repurchase it, I have a lot of highlighters to work through first.

3. Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze- I am so close to finishing this! I am hoping within the next few days and so I can start working on other cream eyeshadows.

4. E.L.F. Golden Bronzer- I finished off a powder highlighter last month so I thought why not try and work on this. I think this might go by quicker now that the Benefit Watts Up is finished as well.

5. E.L.F. Blush and Bronzer- I hit pan in the bronzer and so my n ext goal for the end the month is to hit pan on the blush. My overall goal is to have at least the bronzer finished by the end of August but we will see.

6. Stila Lip Glaze in Lights- I am really happy with the progress hopefully I continue to see progress so I can finish it up this month.

7. Bare Essentials Lip Guard in Miami Beach-This is one of my oldest glosses so it is time to use it up. It is a gorgeous pink color that I think will work well with my E.L.F. lipstick.

8. E.L.F. Lipstick in Natural Nymph- I have been really enjoying wearing nude lips! I am hoping to make some more progress as the month goes on (we will see).

9. Palladio Eyeliner is Sky Blue- Eyeliners are SO hard for me to use up so I like putting them in my project pan to at least track some progress and feel a little accomplished.

10. Revlon Cream Eyeshadows in Seashells- Since I am basically finished with my color tattoo I decided to add this in to start tracking progress because thesis are the next cream shadows I plan on trying to use up.

I hope you enjoyed the update to the products I picked out for my July Project Pan. I will have my finale to my July Project Pan up in about two weeks! Have a wonderful day!

June 2016 Birchbox Review

I received this on June 8th and so it is time to share with you my thoughts after using my June Birchbox for over a month. I enjoyed some of these products. Let me know if you have any questions. I do pay for this and so my opinions are my own.

1. The Beauty Crop PBJ Smoothie Stick in Raisin the Roof- I really enjoyed using this lip prodcut. It was a super simple color and very moisturizing. Perfect for summer!

2. Davines Authentic Replenishing Butter for Face, Hair & BodyI used at night to remove makeup. I have enough conditioner so I didn't use it on my hair. It was an okay makeup remover and moisturizer. I didn't seem to get all my makeup off and I am currently trying to work on that and make sure everything is off and I had to go over it a few times to get everything off.

3.  Davines Authentic Cleansing Nectar Hair/Body- This was used as a body wash again I have a lot of shampoos and so I didn't use it as that. It was okay. I didn't notice anything great or horrible about it. I still needed lotion with this, but I could skip it every other time.

4.  LOC One & Done Shadow Stick in Haute Cocoa- I loved this color! I only used it a few times because I was working on another cream eyeshadow in my Project pan. I liked the color, but I couldn't seem to get the application right. It either didn't been at all and was streaky or it blended out too much.

5.  Air Repair Complexion Boosting Moisturizer- I was disappointed that is doesn't have SPF especially for the summer time. If it had SPF I would purchase the full size because it leave my skin moisturized but not too greasy.

6.  NUXE Rêve de Miel® Facial Cleansing and Make-Up Removing GelThis was a face wash and makeup remover in one. It worked okay, but my issue with this was the smell! I couldn't believe how strong the scent was!

I hope you enjoyed my final thoughts on these products. In two days I will have my July Birchbox Unboxing up and ready for you. Don't forget to watch the above video.

Pan that Palette Update #6

I am so excited to share with you the progress on the palette I am on working for 2016. I am still not sure how much I will be able to use, but this is the only palette I am using!

I received this as a perk for order over certain amount from eyeslipsface.com and never have really used it since it is SO big. The cover has since popped off and so I think it is time to move it out. It will be fun to experiment with the different colors while still having basics to fall back to.

January, I wore whatever shades I wanted. I did crush up one shade(a dark army green) because it had no pigmentation and was very chalky.

February I used the pink/red row, with some neutrals included. I hit pan 13 shades!

March, I focused on the light green row. My plan is to focus on a color fully row each month to try and move those out so I am not left with them all at the end. I want to have pan on a few shades in the next update. I ended up panning 7 out of 12 shades.

In April, I decided to focus on the light blue row. I have hit pan on 10/12 shades. I am excited to see what happens. I have also decided this month that when I have a large amount of pan on a shadow I will be crushing it up because it becomes too messy once pan has hit.

In May I am focused on the purple column. I  really enjoyed the way that these eyeshadows look. I was never a huge fan of purple, but it is growing on me! I ended the month plus a few days in June panning 8 out of 12 shades in that column.

June, I used the four columns I have focused on and trying to use them up. I have four green shades, 1 blue shade, 4 purple shades and 5 from the pink/orange column to use up! I hope I can make some progress with them and finish them up this month!

July, was similar to June, I want to work on the four columns that I have previously been working on. The only difference because I only had 1 purple shade, 4 pink/ orange shades, 1 blue shades and 0 green shades. I decided to start working on the other blue column. I plan on working on this in both July and August, because I don't know how much makeup I will be wearing as I continue into summer.

In total I have 67 shiny pans and 2 with pan showing! I will be updating you every month and we will see how it goes! Wish me luck! Let me know if you are going to panning a palette this year!

June 2016 Empties

Welcome to the beginning of July, which means it is empties time! To watch the video click the video below! I split this post into two categories: makeup, and beauty! Enjoy!

Makeup Empties

1. E.L.F. Lipgloss in Baby Doll (Not Repurchase)- This gloss gave my lips a great shine, but it wasn't long lasting and it felt very thick on your lips.

2. E.L.F. HD Concealer in Brightening (Might Repurchase)- I really liked the effect it gave under my eyes, it really brightened up my under my eyes. I have other concealers I want to try but this might be one I repurchase this one in the future.

3. The Balm's Cindy-Lou Manizer (Not Repurchase)- I received this sample in my Birchbox and loved the formula the color was too pink for me all year round and so I decided to purchase the Mary-Lou Manizer which is perfect for my skin tone.

4. Coola Makeup Setting Spray Green Tea & Aloe (Not Repurchase)- This setting spray didn't seem to keep my makeup on any longer than not using it and it smelled too natural (I know that sounds odd) to

5. Pop AquaLaquacer in Flowering Fuchsia (Not Repurchase)- I have been trying to use this up for a year! I am so excited that it is finished. It had a great pigmentation, but I wasn't a fan of the plastic applicator or how sticky the gloss was.

6. Marcelle BB Cream in Golden Glow (Not Repurchase)- While this product did give my skin a nice glow, but it isn't something I find pessary in my routine. I feel like bronzers and highlighters can give my skin the glow I want.

Beauty Empties

7. Bath and Body Works Body Mist in Black Raspberry Vanilla (Not Repurchase)- I haven't purchased a body mist in years and I won't be repurchasing them because I prefer perfumes majority of the time to body mists. I have been mainly using them for room or clothes sprays because the scent was nice, just not something I would repurchase.

8. & 9. Sea salt Sprays (Not Repurchase)- I finished both the Not Your Mothers and Davines Sea Salt Spray and while the Davines smelled amazing neither of them did anything for my hair. My hair is straight and it seems like whatever I do it is always straight so I am just going to embrace it for now.

10. Batiste Dry Shampoo (Repurchase)- I love this stuff! It is the only dry shampoo that has ever seemed to do anything and so far the nozzle has never gotten clogged. This is a wholly grail product for me.

11. Amina Un-Done Texture Spray (Might Repurchase)- I loved the scent of this and how it made my hair look. It also seemed to keep the greasiness away a little bit longer. It is on my list to repurchase once I finish all my other hair products.

12. Dove Go Fresh  (Might Repurchase)- I think this does a good, but not great job. I have another one because I bought it in a twin pack and then I might look for something different.

13. Masqueology Pore Minimizing Mask (Not Repurchase)- I received this in mY birchbox months ago and it took my forever to use it. I finally did this month and I have decided I am not a huge factor of sheet masks. 1- I can never get them to fit on my face 2- they always fall off 3- I can't do anything because I wear glasses and it doesn't work to wear with sheet masks. It was hydrating just not for me.

14. Cute Nali Polish Remover (Repurchase)- I really enjoy this method to take off my nail polish and most of these I have tried have been great. I just pick whichever is available (and normally cheapest) when I am picking them up.

15. Clean Blossom Parfum (Might Repurchase)- I have a lot of scents I want to get though before I purchase one. I plan on going to a store and finding a scent I love! I did like this clean floral scent but who knows what I will be in the mood for when I buy one.

16. Davies Love Conditioner (Not Repurchase)- I received this in a Birchbox and I used it up. While it was nice I didn't notice any difference in my hair then when I use cheaper or really any other conditioner. I have a few favorites I might repurchase when I finish up what I have.

17. Davies Authentic Replenishing Butter for Face, Hair and Body (Not Repurchase)- This actually came in my June Birchbox , stay tuned for a review coming up soon.

And those were my June Empties!  By the end of 2016, I want to have 300 products. I had 117 products in January thru May. Now, in June there were 17 for a total of 134 products which is great, but not quite half.

Let me know if you have ever tried more natural foudnation! Have a wonderful day!

May 2016 Birchbox Review

It has been a month I received my May Birchbox. I am really excited to share my thoughts on these products. Let me know if you have any questions. I do pay for this and so my opinions are my own.

1. Benefit Cosmetics Hoola BronzerI actually have a full size of this prodcut and love it . I was excited to have a smaller size and I love it! It works well on my pale skin, but it should be built up so less pale skin.

** Still can't find the gloss!**

2. Model Cos Lip Laquer in Creme BrûléeI used this gloss for a solid week and loved it! I have not been able to find it since!

3. Coola SPF 30 Organic Makeup Setting SprayI have received this in a Birchbox before (I picked this box) and the first time it didn't spray out. This one did spray out, but it still  didn't wow mean and the scent was terrible.

4. Davines LOVE Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner- This shampoo and conditioner is suppose to calm fizz, add moisture and shine. I really loved the lavender smell. It was okay, I wouldn't repurchase because it didn't do anything special to my hair.

5. Clean Blossom Eau de ParfumThis is a gorgeous scent with notes of Tunisian neroli, orange blossom and sensual sandalwood. It does smell like clean and floral I like. I am not sure if I would purchase it isn't a scent I think I would pick out for myself.

I hope you enjoyed my  thoughts on these products. Last week I shared what was in my June Project Pan, don't for get to check that out!   Don't forget to watch the above video.
