May 2016 Project Pan Finale

It is the end of May and that means time for the update of this month's project pan. I FINISHED THREE PRODUCTS! The products I have chose might not be used up in the month but I want to focus on them and make some decent progress. Even if I product isn't finished it might or might not be in the next month's project pan.

Listed below are the products I chose to focus on for May:

1. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk (FINISHED)- I am so excited to have this finished! While it was a fun color, I prefer to have a neutral base for my eyeshadows.

2. Liplicious If the Tiara Fits (FINISHED)- I am excited that I was able to finish this! I have been working on it for months and I am glad to say good bye!

3. E.L.F. Blush in Candid Coral (FINISHED)This blush was really powdery and started to break off and kick up lots of powder as I used it. I am glad I used it up when I did because it clearly needed to go.

4. Eyes Lips Face All Over Color stick in Pink Lemonade- I have had this for WAY too long. I was hoping to make some good progress but unfortunately that was not the case. I will be using this in June to hopefully come close to finishing it.

5. Eyes Lips Face Bronzer- I didn't notice too much progress this month. It is a darker bronzer, I am going to set it aside for June and pick it back up in July. I really like it and am kind of glad I didn't get it used up.

6. Benefit's Watts Up- I was happy with the progress I made. I think when the weather warms up it will help this product go faster.

7. Model Co. Kitty Lipstick- I really love this lipstick and I am kinda glad I wasn't able to finish it this month. I am thinking about repurchasing it once it is gone .

I hope you enjoyed the update to the products I picked out for my May Project Pan. I will have my finale to my May Project Pan up on in about a week! Have a wonderful day!

May 2016 Favorites, Purchases and Resolutions Update

This year I am going to be combining my Monthly Favorites and Purchases with my Resolutions Updates (in the Video). I hope you enjoy May's picks!

Favorites

1. Model Co Matte Lipstick in Kitty- I received this in a Birchbox over a year ago and I have been afraid to pull it out because of it being nude. I decided to put it in a project pan this month and fell in love with it and nude lips. Check out my June Project Pan to see another nude lipstick I will hopefully fall in love with (Posted June 2nd).

2. Mascaras ( No. 7 Maximum Volume and Loreal Telescopic Carbon Black)- I have short blond eyelashes and these two together work wonders! They had lots of length and the perfect amount of volume.

3. Mainstays Wax Melt in Strawberry Lemonade- Summer is HERE! I am loving this scent for my house. It is so summery and clean. I enjoy many of the mainstay scents check them out at your local Walmart.

Purchases

* This month I had NO PURCHASES! This doesn't count my Birchbox which I get every month, but pay for in August.

Resolutions

*Check out the video for this information!

Those were my Favorites and Purchases for May! Let me know what your favorites were down below! Have a wonderful day!

May 2016 Birchbox Unboxing

It is a new month ( I received this on May 7th) and so it is time to share with you my May Birchbox. I am really excited to try these products. Let me know if you have any questions. I do pay for this and my opinions are my own.

1. Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer- I actually have a full size of this prodcut and love it so I am excited to have another one.

** Didn't  get a good picture and now can't find the gloss!**

2. Model Cos Lip Laquer in Creme Brûlée- Recently, I have been really loving nude lips so this is a perfect color to try out and see if it works for me.

3. Coola SPF 30 Organic Makeup Setting Spray- I have received this in a Birchbox before (I picked this box) and the first time it didn't spray out. I liked it but it wasn't something I would purchase the full size of. We will see if this bottle changes my mind.

4. Davines LOVE Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner- This shampoo and conditioner is suppose to calm fizz, add moisture and shine. I really love the lavender smell.

5. Clean Blossom Eau de Parfum- This is a gorgeous scent with notes of Tunisian neroli, orange blossom and sensual sandalwood. It does smell like clean and floral I like it we will see how it wears.

I hope you enjoyed my initial thoughts on these products. Around the middle of June I will have my final thoughts on them. Hopefully I can use some of them up and really let you know how i feel. Don't forget to watch the above video.

May 2016 Project Pan Update

It is the middle of May and that means time for the update of this month's project pan. I FINISHED ONE PRODUCT! The products I have chose might not be used up in the month but I want to focus on them and make some decent progress. Even if I product isn't finished it might or might not be in the next month's project pan.

Listed below are the products I chose to focus on for May:

1. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk- I am so excited to have this finished! while it was a fun color, I prefer to have a natural base for my eyeshadows.

2. Liplicious If the Tiara Fits- I am excited about the progress but I hoping for me as we close out May.

3. E.L.F. Blush in Candid CoralI made some awesome progress! I think it helped that the blush is old and powdery.

4. Eyes Lips Face All Over Color stick in Pink Lemonade- I have had this for WAY too long. I am hoping to make some better progress the end of this month and into June.

5. Eyes Lips Face Bronzer- I didn't notice too much progress but you only need little bit. I am hoping to make more progress now that I am off work and it is summer time.

6. Benefit's Watts Up- I was happy with the progress I made. I think when the weather warms up it will help this product go faster.

7. Model Co. Kitty Lipstick- I really love this lipstick. I am thinking about repurchasing it once it is gone.

April 2016 Birchbox Review

It has been a month since I received my April Birchbox. I am excited to share my thoughts about these products with you. Let me know if you have any other questions.

1. Marcelle 3-in-1 Micellar Solution- This product is suppose to cleanse your skin as well as get off any makeup. I think it did a pretty great job at getting my makeup off. While I really liked it I won't repurchase it because I like the Simple Cleansing Water just as well and it is cheaper.

2. amika Un.Done Texture SprayThis spray is suppose to add lots volume as well as shine and strength. I am in love with this stuff! I plan on purchasing it after I have used up some other hair products.

3. Au Naturale Cosmetics Trio Set- First, this sample is so small. As you can tell I used up the cream eyeshadow, but all of these were so greasy that this is going in my May Empties/Declutter.

4. Dr. Jart+ Liftra™ Contour CreamI haven't used this but I can't tell a difference in my skin's texture. I will finish up the product because it seems to be a nice moisturizer I won't purchase the full size.

5. Odacite Black Cumin + Cajeput Serum ConcentrateThis oil is suppose to combat acne and purify skin to prevent breakouts. I didn't get a chance to try this, hopefully soon though.

I hope you enjoyed this quick post of my April  Birchbox. Come back in May and I will review the products I received. Hope you have a wonderful day!

Pan that Palette #4

I am so excited to share with you the progress on the palette I plan on working on in 2016. I am still not sure how much I will be able to use, but this is the only palette I am using!

I received this as a perk for order over certain amount from eyeslipsface.com and never have really used it since it is SO big. The cover has since popped off and so I think it is time to move it out. It will be fun to experiment with the different colors while still having basics to fall back to.

In April, I decided to focus on the light blue row. I have hit pan on 10/12 shades. I am excited to see what happens. I have also decided this month that when I have a large amount of pan on a shadow I will be crushing it up because it becomes too messy once pan has hit.

March, I focused on the light green row. My plan is to focus on a color fully row each month to try and move those out so I am not left with them all at the end. I want to have pan on a few shades in the next update. I ended up panning 7 out of 12 shades.

February I used the pink/red row, with some neutrals included. I have hit pan 13 shades! In

January, I did crush up one shade(a dark army green) because it had no pigmentation and was very chalky.

In May I am focusing on the purple column. I have really enjoyed the way that these eyeshadows look. I was never a huge fan of purple, but it is growing on me! I have hit pan on one shade so far.

In total I have 43 shiny pans and two with a tiny bit of pan showing! I will be updating you every month and we will see how it goes! Wish me luck! Let me know if you are going to panning a palette this year!

April 2016 Empties

Welcome to the beginning of May, which means it is empties time! To watch the video click the video below! I split this post into three categories: makeup, beauty! Enjoy!

Makeup Empties

1. CoverGirl Wetslicks Amazemint (Not Repurchase)- I received a lot of these from my friend and all the other lip glosses were SUPER pigmented. This one was not, it was okay but so many other glosses are better than this.

2. Loreal Collagen Voluminous Mascara (Might Repurchase)- This mascara gave my lashes lots of volume. It was a great mascara but I want to try some others before I repurchase this one. I have another one of these I am currently using.

3. Coola Makeup Setting Spray (Not Repurchase)- I received this in a birchbox and the bottle didn't spray I ended up putting it into a Wet N Wild Makeup Setting spray. It had an odd smell and it didn't seem to work any better than my E.L.F. setting spray which is much cheaper.

4. Wet N Wild Photofocus Setting Spray (Not Repurchase)- This product really seemed to work well. I enjoyed that it was cruelty free. I don't think I will repurchase because like the Coola Setting Spray (see above) I prefer the Eyes Lips Face setting stray over both of these.

5. W3ll People Bio-Brightening Stick in Moonstone (Not Repurchase)- While I really liked the formula and the look of this highlighter I will not purchase the full size. After using different highlighters I perfer powered versions.

6. E.L.F. Baked Blush in Pinktastic (Repurchase)- This was only part of the blush ( I still have some left) but I love this blush for a highlight. It is perfect! Definitely something to look into for $3!

7. Neutrogena Mineral Sheer Powder Foundation in Natural Ivory (Might Repurchase)- I really liked the coverage this powder gave. It was not too much to go over foundation, but I normally prefer translucent powders.

8. Ulta Bronzer and Splendor Duo (Not Repurchase)- I got an Ulta sample box last year with a promo code. This was one of the products inside. I wasn't a huge fan of the shade of bronzer and the blush was nothing special.

9. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe (Not Repurchase)- I love the Maybelline color tattoos I have had many for years and they haven't dried out on my yet. I wasn't a fan of this color, matte gray still didn't look good on me.

10. Bare Essentials Lip Guard in Cocoa Beach (Not Repurchase)- while I loved the formula the packaging wasn't my favorite. The color also didn't suit me very well.

11./12. Sephora Samples (Might Repurchase)- One was TheBalms BB Cream and it was nothing special so I won't purchase the full size. The other was a sample of the Marc Jacobs Foundation, while it is $55 I might get it in the future once I have tried other foundations.

13./14./15. Brushes- Last month I did my makeup collection and inventory with my mascaras. While filming that video I realize some of them had gone bad so they went straight to the empties bucket.

Beauty Empties

16. Parlor Smoothing Blowout Spray (Not Repurchase)- This did nothing for my hair. It didn't make my hair greasy but it wasn't anything great.

17. Batiste Dray Shampoo (Repurchase)- I love this stuff! I will continue to repurchase this dry shampoo. It works wonders for my 2nd and 3rd day hair.

18. Simple Cleansing Micellar Water (Repurchase)- I love this stuff for taking off my makeup. It is so gently and seems to get most of my makeup off quickly. It is not very expensive so i plan to repurchase once my other makeup removers are gone.

19. Clinique Happy Heart (Not Repurchase)- I really liked the scent of this perfume. I don't know if I will repurchase it because I plan on once all my others are gone going and picking one out. I have only done it once in my life. I always get gifted scents. This one was from my husband.

20. Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream (Not Repurchase)- It did keep my face hydrated pretty well but I wasn't something amazing! Let me know if you have a facial cream you love! I am still on the hunt.

21. Lancome Youth Activating Concentrate (Not Repurchase)- I didn't notice anything different about my skin while using this product. I got it as a sample and I have another one to try so maybe I will be able to see a difference when I use that one.

22. Avene Thermal Spring Water (Not Repurchase)- I received this in my Birchbox over a year ago and I have been using it slowly since then. It felt nice to spray my face when it was hot or when it felt extra dry for some quick moisture. I will not repurchase it because I don't see the need for it.

23. Whish Renewing Mud Mask (Not Repurchase)- I received this in my Birchbox and while it felt nice I didn't notice anything drastic for my skin.

24. Swisspers Cotton Rounds (Repurchase)- These work great! I love how thin the rounds are, the work better then cotton balls.

25. WilmaSchumann Hydrating Collagen Eye Pads (Not Repurchase)- These were something I had never tried before they were silicone eye pads that went under your eyes. I don't struggle with under-eye dryness or dark circles so I didn't notice a different with these.

26. Catherine Malandrino Romance de Provence (Not Repurchase)- I wasn't a fan of this scent. It reminded me of a scent I remember growing up with bad memories.
Random Empties

27. Downy Unstoppables (Repurchase)- I like sharing these overtime I finished them because I really like them and would recommend them with any detergent. It makes your close smell amazing!

28. SenChai Green Tea Leaf Mints in Bombay Chai (Might Repurchase)- I really liked the flavor of these mints. I got it at a boutique in my city. I wouldn't go out of my way to find them but I would repurchase them if I saw them.

And those were my April Empties!  By the end of 2015, I want to have 300 products. I had 74 products in January, February and March. Now, in April there were 28 for a total of 102 products which is pretty great!

Let me know your favorite facial cream below! Have a wonderful day!
