2017 Project Polish Intro

I decided that I am going to attempt to do another Project Polish. I did one over a year ago that wasn't super successful (I didn't finish any polishes). I learned some lessons about myself and am ready to embark on a new and improved Project Polish.

My plan is to only pick three nailpolishes at a time and update once a month. Once I finish a polish I do plan on putting another one in. I would love to finish 10 nailpolishes by the end of 2017, we will see if that happens. Many of the nailpolishes I want to finish will be already have been used so that might help me get through some quicker.

The three nailpolishes I picked were:
1. Julep's Meryl
2. Wet N' Wild's Wild Shine in Eggplant Frost
3. Love My Nails in Manhat Red

*If there are two marks on the polish that is because in 2016 I marked some polishes that I wanted to finish, none of them actually got finished.

I hope you enjoyed! Let me know if you are doing a project polish!

December 2016 Project Pan Finale

It is the end of December and that means time for the update of this month's project pan. The products I have chose might not be used up in the month but I want to focus on them and make some decent progress. Even if I product isn't finished it might or might not be in the next month's project pan.

Listed below are the products I chose to focus on for December:

1. Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Hot Tamale- I am excited to see how long this takes me to use up. In December I wasn't very consistent with using it and I need to get into the habit to start the year off right.

2. Ardian Apreal True Blush- This is my oldest blush and I was trying to finish it by the end of 2016 (obviously that didn't work). I have three blushes in my Pan that Palette that I plan on using first and then coming back to this blush to finish it up!

3. Benefit Hoola Bronzer Sample- I received this bronzer in my May 2016 Birchbox and I already have a full-size my goal for December was not to be able to see the words HOOLA in the pan. I think it went pretty well, you can see some, but bronzers are so hard to get through especially in the dead of winter on my pale skin

4. Eyes Lips Face Baked Blush in Pinktastic- I love this highlight! It is definitely a holy grail status (at least the shade). I am hoping to make a dent in this highlight in 2017!

5. Eyes Lips Face Cream Eyeshadow in Bronze- I prefer the maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze to this cream shadow. The color is pretty, but I have to use an eye primer if I want it to stay all day.

6. Cynthia Rowley Creamy Lip Stain in Valentine- I really like the color of this lip stain. I am not a huge fan of how dry it makes my lips feel afterwards. I also am not a fan of the small size. This was a sample in my June 2014 Birchbox.

7. Maybelline Mix Matchers- I am really enjoying the black eyeliner. The silver side I am using as a brow bone highlight. It didn't work at all as a cream eyeshadow, pigmentation was low and patchy.

8. Wet N Wild Glass Gloss in Mow the Glass- I was really hoping for this to be used up this month, but no luck. I did makes some progress and I really enjoy this gloss and it will be moving over to January's Project Pan.

8. Tindall Lip Balm- I made some good progress this month, but not enough to finish it. I think January will be its last month (at least I am hoping).

I hope you enjoyed the finale to the products I picked out for my December Project Pan. I will have my introduction to my January Project Pan up soon! Have a wonderful day!

December 2016 Empties & Declutter

Welcome to the beginning of 2017, which means it is empties time! To watch the video click the video below! I split this post into three categories: makeup, beauty and random! Enjoy!

Makeup Empties

1. Benefit Watts Up (Not Repurchase)- This highlight is great, but I have come to realization that I prefer powder highlights, as of right now, so I will not be purchasing the full size.

2. Laura Gellar Air Whipped Lip Wear in Praline (Might Repurchase)- I really liked this gloss and the texture. I would like about purchasing this again once I have cleared out most of my lipglosses. I would however, probably get a different color.

3. Eyes Lips Face 144 Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette (Not Repurchase)- I worked on this all year (click here to watch the playlist). While the shadows were good quality I wouldn't purchase a big palette like this again. It was hard to store and it came with a lot of colors that weren't my favorite.

Beauty Empties

7. Got2b Rise'N Shine Whipped Mousse (Not Repurchase)- I didn't see an effects either positive or negative when using this prodcut. Even afterward, nothing seemed to be affected. I got this on clearance and shouldn't have wasted my money.

8.  Secret Mean Stinks Body Spray (Not Repurchase)- My mother-in-law actually gave this to me. I really liked the smell, but the spray seemed to have gotten clogged and I can't get it clean. I decided to get rid of this because it became too difficult and a hassle to use.

Random Empties

9. Mainstays Mulled Cider Wax Cubes (Repurchase)- I loved the scent of these and they actually last quite a long time in a wax warmer. It is a scent I go back to time and time again and would definitely recommend it for the fall and winter time.

10. I love Cookie DOugh Hand Sanitizer (Not Repurchase)- I got really sick of this scent as I used it. I prefer a clean or the original scent. I used this as I applied my makeup in between to clean my hands since I use my fingers as I apply my makeup.

And those were my December Empties!  By the end of 2016, I wanted to have 300 products. I didn't keep track, but I know I didn't make it. I am will be lowering my goal (especially without Birchbox tin 2017 and trying to work through larger products).

Have a wonderful day!

July 2016 Birchbox Unboxing

It is a new month ( I received this on July 11th) and so it is time to share with you my July Birchbox. I am really excited to try these products. Let me know if you have any questions. I do pay for this and so my opinions are my own.

1. COOLA® Environmental Repair Plus® Radical Recovery™ After-Sun Lotion- I have been working outside a lot this summer so I think this will be nice to use after I come in to nourish my skin.

2. MDSolarSciences™ Mineral Crème SPF 50 Broad Spectrum UVA-UVB Sunscreen- I am so excited to try this. Like I said above I have been working outside a lot and I have just been using normal body sunscreen for my face. I am glad I have something specifically for my face and it's SPF 50!

3.  Smashbox Cosmetics X-Rated Mascara- I have a dreamer full of mascaras and ones I really do enjoy. I am curious to see how I like this one.

4. Milk Makeup Sunshine Oil- I haven't tried too many face oils and so I am excited to give this a try. It is also suppose to be a highlighter so I am hoping it doesn't make my face look greasy.

5. Benefit gimme brow volumizing fiber gel- I have never tried a brow product from Benefit. Brows are definitely a part of makeup that I still struggle with, so I am hoping using this goes well! Wish me luck!

I hope you enjoyed my initial thoughts on these products. Around the middle of August I will have my final thoughts on them. Hopefully I can use some of them up and really let you know how I feel. Don't forget to watch the above video.

July 2016 Project Pan Update

It is the middle of July and that means time for the update of this month's project pan. The products I have chose might not be used up in the month but I want to focus on them and make some decent progress. Even if I product isn't finished it might or might not be in the next month's project pan.

Listed below are the products I chose to focus on for July:

1. Eyes Lips Face All Over Color stick in Pink Lemonade- I have been working on this for too long and I am excited to maybe have it finished within the next month. It is a gorgeous color I am just not a huge fan of cream blushes an I have quiet a few I need to use up.

** 2. Benefit's Watts Up- It is finished! I enjoyed this sample size and luckily I have another one ready to use. I don't know if I would repurchase it, I have a lot of highlighters to work through first.

3. Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze- I am so close to finishing this! I am hoping within the next few days and so I can start working on other cream eyeshadows.

4. E.L.F. Golden Bronzer- I finished off a powder highlighter last month so I thought why not try and work on this. I think this might go by quicker now that the Benefit Watts Up is finished as well.

5. E.L.F. Blush and Bronzer- I hit pan in the bronzer and so my n ext goal for the end the month is to hit pan on the blush. My overall goal is to have at least the bronzer finished by the end of August but we will see.

6. Stila Lip Glaze in Lights- I am really happy with the progress hopefully I continue to see progress so I can finish it up this month.

7. Bare Essentials Lip Guard in Miami Beach-This is one of my oldest glosses so it is time to use it up. It is a gorgeous pink color that I think will work well with my E.L.F. lipstick.

8. E.L.F. Lipstick in Natural Nymph- I have been really enjoying wearing nude lips! I am hoping to make some more progress as the month goes on (we will see).

9. Palladio Eyeliner is Sky Blue- Eyeliners are SO hard for me to use up so I like putting them in my project pan to at least track some progress and feel a little accomplished.

10. Revlon Cream Eyeshadows in Seashells- Since I am basically finished with my color tattoo I decided to add this in to start tracking progress because thesis are the next cream shadows I plan on trying to use up.

I hope you enjoyed the update to the products I picked out for my July Project Pan. I will have my finale to my July Project Pan up in about two weeks! Have a wonderful day!
