June 2014 Favorites

It's the end of June and that means June Favorites time! I love watching/making favorites videos.

1. No. 4 Fleurs de Temps Volumizing Shampoo- I received this shampoo in my May Birchbox and I fell in love with it! It made my hair so soft and light with caused it to be a little more voluminous!

2. Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash-  I also received this in my Birchbox, but months and months ago. I ran out of face wash and was looking through different face washes and tried this one and I loved it! It is pretty thick, but I added in some salt scrub and it worked perfectly to really get my skin clean and awake in the morning.

3. E.L.F. Basked Blush in Pinktastic- I have been highlighting my face throughout the year with the E.L.F. Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter, but my face needed some extra sparkle for summer time. I looking through the make-up I brought home for the summer and found this and it stole my heart! It is so gorgeous and not too glittery or chalky! It is a great buy for $3!

4. E.L.F. Blush in Fusia Fusion- This blush is a gorgeous pink with a little sparkle. It looks gorgeous on skin with a little bit of color it adds the perfect amount without being chalky and it is super pigmented!

5. Nailpolish- These two nail-polishes are the ones I wore this month and I loved them! I have blog post on both  The Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in Marine Scene & Wet N'Wild Wild Shine in Blazed

6. Brookside Dark Chocolate Acai and Blueberry- This is the best snack ever! I would definitely recommend this snack! It is a soft fruit flavored center and it's covered in dark chocolate. And yes, it is as delicious as it sounds!

I hope you enjoyed reading about my June Favorites let me know what your favorite thing about June was! I can't believe it is almost July! Summer is flying by!

E.L.F. Highlighter & Concealer Review

Since, I did a review on the E.L.F. (eyeslipsface) tinted moisturizer, I wanted to show you a product from the same company that I love! Today's product that I am reviewing is the E.L.F. Under Eye Concealer & highlighter.

This product has two products for the price of one and to start with it is only $3, which you can't beat. The product comes in three colors and can be purchased at Target or online. The three colors are fair, light and medium and so there is not a dark. Considering it is suppose to be an under eye concealer that might work for most skin tones if you want your under eyes to be brighter then the rest of your skin.  We are going to break the product into the two parts: Under Eye Concealer and Highlighter.

Under Eye Concealer
This is a very light under-eye concealer. It doesn't look cakey under the eyes and does a great job for me! I don't struggle with dark under eye circles. That is the only compaint I saw on the reviews online, so if do struggle with dark under circles this might not be the best for you. It works well to cover slight dark circles and puffiness as well as evening out the skin.

Highlighter
This is a wonderful highlighter. It gives your face a slight shimmer. I loved it for the winter and spring to highlight different parts of my face, but not over do it! For the summer I have added a powder highlighter on top of this the E.L.F. Baked Blush in Pinktastic (it will be in my June Favorites coming in two days).

I hope you enjoyed this review! Let me know what your favorite liquid highlighter is so I can try it after this product is done. I would recommend the E.L.F. brand to try different colors and formulas because they are very cheap and most of the time pretty good quality! I hope you have a wonderful day!

June BIrchbox 2104 Unboxing

I was so excited that my Birchbox made it to my husband's parents house (where I am staying this summer) ! Here are the products that were in this box. Birchbox is a monthly subscription that is $10 and you get sample products and I love it!

1. Cynthia Rowley Beauty's Creamy Lip Stain in Valentine- This lip-stain is a gorgeous color. It is suppose to be long lasting and moisturizing like I said in my May Birchbox Review I love lip products so I am so excited to wear this and test how long it wears.

2. Dr. Hauschka's Lemon Lemongrass Vitalizing Body Wash- Lemon is my favorite scent and flavor, so this body wash smells amazing. I want to see how long/strong the scent is and how hydrating it is.

3. Joie's Folle de Joie Eau de Parfum- This scent is a fresh scent and I usually go for a sweeter or floral scent so I am excited to try and see if I fall in love with this scent.

4. Mally Beauty's Volumizing Mascara- I received a mascara similar to this one a few months back and I loved it! This brush is a little thinner and the wand is a little longer. I hoping I love this mascara just as much as I did the other Mally mascara I received.

5. Perlier's Body Cream in Shea Almond- In the summer with all the swimming I do, body lotions are essential, so I am ready to put this one to the test! It is in the Shea Almond scent which I am not a huge fan of but we will see.

I will let you know in July how I liked these products! What is your summer essentials? One of mine is definitely a body cream/lotion/butter. Thanks for reading! Have a wonderful week!

May Birchbox Review

If you missed my post on the May Birchbox Unboxing click here. Birchbox is a monthly subscription that send out beauty products some that are a sample size and others that are full size. I think to review the products after I have been able to use them for awhile so you can know if I would purchase the products on their own.

1. Clarisea Instant Glow Powder Exfoliant- This product is loose with sea salt and rose powder. I liked the feeling of this and how it made me face feel. I didn't like the packaging I sometimes dumped out way to much. I usually like small grans for exfoliating I feel they do a better job, so I most likely won't purchase this product, but I will definitely finish up this sample.

2. CoTZ Fave Natural Skin SPF 40- I loved the texted of this product it when on so smooth! The thing I didn't like was the color because it was too dark for me as of right now, once I get a tan it will be wonderful to throw on when I go and play tennis or workout.

3. Number 4 High Performance Hair Care Volumizing Shampoo & Condition- Since the conditioner was a small sample I used it a couple of times and liked it but wasn't in love. It was an okay product so I wouldn't purchase it. The shampoo was wonderful! It made my hair so soft and didn't weight it down at all and gave it a little bit of body which I love because my hair needs all the body it can get.

4. Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm- I love lip products! This lip balm is so creamy and the has a pink pigmentation that looks great on your lips! I will definitely be purchasing more of these when I finish the sample or when used up some of my other lip balms because like I said I love lip products and I own a lot!

5. Votivo Candle in Azure Garden- I wasn't able to used this product because I did move this last month and I have been using sprays instead of candles. (see the photo from my May Birchbox Unboxing

I hope you enjoyed! My June Birckbox Unboxing will be up shortly! Have a great day! Let me know what product you are drawn to. Mine would be lip products because there are so many different colors and styles.

Review: E.L.F. Tinted Moisturizer

Hey guys! I am going to try and do more reviews on both my YouTube channel and on here! Let me know f you have any requests for products down below. Today I am going to review the e.l.f. (eyeslipsface)Tinted Moisturizer. I have mine in porcelain which used to be there lightest shade, they have added a lighter just in the last month or so. Below are some Pors and Cons as well as a quick overview.

Cons
  • Very Orange
  • Doesn't blend too well (you really have to blend it in)
  • Oxidizes
  • Doesn't Moisturize

Pros
  • SPF 20
  • Aloe, Cucumber, Vitamins A, C & E
  • It is only $3

Overall, I am not a huge fan of this product. I have to use a moisturizer before or my skin becomes very dry and the color doesn't match my skin. I will use up the bottle I have, mixing it with other foundations/BB Creams/tinted moisturizers to get the right color. I will not repurchase it.

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed and have a great day!

May Empties/ Products I have Used Up (Part 2)

Today is the second installment of my May Empties Post, I had so many I had to break it up into two different posts! I am excited to share with you the different products I used up this month and if I would repurchase them or not!

1. Lipton Green Tea in Red Goji Rasberry (Repurchased)- I have repurchased this tea multiple times and I plan on repurchasing it again. I love green tea and fruit so this is a perfect combination!

2. Ayers Bar Soap in Patagonia (Not Repurchase)- I got this bar of soap in a Birchbox and I loved the smell of this soap. However, this soap is not moisturizing and actually made my skin super dry, so I wouldn't recommend it and I won't repurchase it.

3. Covergirl Lash Blast Fusion (Might Repurchase)- This mascara is great! I love the volume it gives my lashes!I like trying out new mascaras so I might repurchase this mascara, but not right away!

4. Elf Under Eye Concealer and Highlighter (Might Repurchase)- I actually had another one of these that I purchased before finishing this up! I really like that it is cheap ($3) and it work pretty well! The highlighter gives you a little glow without being overly shimmery and the concealer isn't anything to special but it does work great under your eyes and to even out coloration on your skin without being cakey.

5. Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 (Repurchase)-  This is an awesome spot treatment! This was actually expired and I could tell it wasn't working the best so I got another one and I have been falling in love with it again! It has 10% benzoyl peroxide in it which is more than some prescribed acne medications and it works wonderful for breakouts!

6. Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti- Breakage Serum (Repurchase)- This serum is perfect! I used it right after the shower on the ends of my hair and I love it. I do think I like my Moroccan oil a little better, but it is also a lot more expensive so I will repurchase this after I have used up a few hair oil samples I have.

7. Air Repair Rescue Balk All-Purpose Skin Salve (Not Repurchase)- I received this as a sample in a Birchbox earlier this year, it said it could be used all over. I found it to be very greasy so I used it when I took off my nail polish and rubbed it on my cuticles to give them some moisture. It worked great for that, but I wouldn't repurchase it because I have other products that can get the job done.

8. Purex Crystals (Not Repurchase)- This laundry enhancer worked okay, the smell was good. The smell carried when you took it out of the dryer but it wasn't super strong. I won't be repurchasing these because the downy unstoppables are my all-time favorite they seem to last longer scent wise, but also bottle wise. I would for sure recommend those if you are wanting your laundry to smell amazing!

I hope you enjoyed reading and see the products that I used up in the month of May! Let me know what your favorite tea is down below! Have a wonderful day!

I love this color it is so bright and fun for summer! The Wet n' Wild Wild Shine polishes don't have the best staying power, but the color pay-off is amazing! The Blazed is a gorgeous peach/ coral color that is wonderful in the summer time!

May Empties/ Products I have Used Up (Part 1)

Today I am excited to share with you some products I used up in the month of May, I have been working on using up products because I realized I have too many and they need to be used up! I hope you enjoy! There are going to be two parts because I had too many to put in one post or one video!

 1. Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in Peach Daiquiri (Might Repurchase)- I love this nail polish! Let me know what your favorite peach colored nail-polish is! I have had this polish for many years and when I went to use it this month is was sheer and gloppy, so I knew it was time to toss it.

 2. Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in Toffee (Might Repurchase)- This lip balm was right by my desk because I love the formulation of the lip shimmers. I didn't like the color at all, but it moisturized my lips so well I wanted to use it up! So I would repurchase another Lip Shimmer just not in Toffee.

3. Olay Complete SPF 30 Defense daily UV moisturizer (Repurchase)- This moisturizer is the BEST! I put this in my May Favorites because I used it up and afterwards my skin became so dry. It is true, you don't know what you have till it's gone.

4. Go be Lovely Lavish Hand Creme in Thai Lily (Not Repurchase)- I love the smell of this lotion. I also had this lotion on my desk to finish it. I won't repurchase this because I have other hand cremes that I like more and this formulation is a little too runny for me.

5. Tuscany Candle in Cucumber Melon (Not Repurchase)- Last month I had another wax melt. This smell wasn't as potent as the other one and I want a smell that is super potent so I wont be repurchasing this smell.

6. Clean & Clear Morning Burst Skin Brightening Facial Cleanser (Repurchase)- This face wash is a great cleanser! I loved using this in the morning because the citrus scent really woke me up and the little beads caused just enough exfoliation! I have a few facial cleansers I want to try out first, but most likely I will be repurchasing this one, for the morning. I didn't notice a my skin brighten up to much when using it.

7. Mainstays Tahitian Sunset Wax Cubes (Might Repurchase)-  These wax melts did fill up my entire house and it was a wonderful beach fruit smell which I loved. It didn't last a long time, but for the price they are a pretty good deal.

8. Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel (Not Repurchase)- I originally got a sample of this product in my Birchbox and ended up purchasing the full-size product and loved it. The smell is amazing and I liked how soft it made ms kin feel. I recently tried it and it is now over a year old and it bruned my skin when I put in on my face. Over that year I have come to like mud masks much better, I feel like they do way for my skin. That is why I am not going to repurchase this product.

I hope you enjoyed! Let me know what you have finished recently and if you would repurchase it! Have a wonderful day!
