May Favorites

It's the end of May and that means MAY FAVORITES! I love seeing all the fun products people have discovered or rediscovered during the month! I have one favorite you will have to wait till the end because I am so excited and so in love with it I had to save it till the end!

1. Olay Complete SPF 30 Defense Daily UV Moisturizer-  I actually finished this product up this month and it was a product I used everyday after I washed my face no matter if I was wearing makeup or not. I loved that it had SPF in it. I also noticed a huge difference when I stopped using this product and I really saw how much it helped moisturize my face.

2. Neautrogena Naturals Multi-Vitamin nourishing night cream- After I stopped using the Olay product I mentioned above my skin became super dry. This is a product that is moisturizing but doesn't break me out. I used this product at night and then would even mix it into the tinted moistuirzer I was using during the day. It did wonders and you don't need a lot and it's pretty natural. I win win win!

3. Covergirl True-blend Concealer- This concealer is perfect for blemishes! I have mine in 1 (the lightest shade) and it works well under my eyes as well to lighten them up. It is creamy and blends great! I set it with powder and I am good to go for the day!

4. Maybelline Falsies Volume Express- I love this mascara, I did get the waterproof on accident, but it stays on so long it's great! I love the curved wand on this mascara, I don't curl my eyelashes and this helps me bring my eyelashes up and still volumizes them.

5. Maybelline Expertwear Eyeshadow in Mocha Motion- I have had this eyeshadow quad for a long time. Recently, I have used the white shade for a highlight the light brown shade for all over the lid and the dark brown shade for my eyebrows. I used to not do anything with my eyebrows but recently it has made my face look so much better and I love it!

6. No. 7 Lipstick in Smooth- I bought this lipstick on sale last month at Target and fell in love. It is a gorgeous pink shade this is perfect for spring and summer. Application of this lipstick is easy and it feels like a lip balm and has great pigmentation.

7. Nailpolishes- I loved two different nail polishes this month both of which I have a blog post on. The first one was Color Club's Aquamarine which is a beautiful pearl color. The second one is Love my Nails in Palest Mauve which is a wonderful pinkish-peach color.

I hope you enjoyed reading! Have a fabulous day! Let me know what your favorite thing about May was in the comments!

This week I decided to wear Avon Speed- Dry in Fusion. This is a beautiful pinky-purple color with some sparkle! I love it and have had it for such a long time and it is still the perfect consistency.

May Birchbox Unboxing

This month my Birchbox came at a perfect time, right when I was done with finals! I love Birchbox, it is a $10/month subscription. Let me know if you have any questions down below, I might do a blog post about Birchbox if you all are interested.

The box always comes with a card that tells you what is in your box and how to use them as well as how much the Full-size is.

1. Clarisea Instant Glow Powder Exfoliant- I am excited to try this, it has sea salt and rose powder in it.  It is a natural scrub that is suppose to clean, brighten and tone, so we will see.

2. CoTZ Face natural Skin tone SPF 40- I was really excited to see this in my box because in the summer I wear a lot less makeup and am outside a ton. So this is a perfect product for me, it seems like it will have some light coverage but has SPF 40 which is awesome!

3. Number 4 High Performance Hair Care Volumizing Shampoo & Condition- I am curious to try these two things because my hair is very fine, but I have a lot of it which means my hair is very limp. This shampoo and conditioner is suppose to create bouncy, bodacious hair so, I hope it does!

4. Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in Pixi Pink- I was so excited to see this in my box! I love lip products and I have seen this brand I have wanted to try it, so this is perfect. It is a gorgeous pink color that has perfect pigmentation!

5. Vovtivo Candle in Azure Garden- Candles are the best! What is your favorite candle? This candle has a wonderful earthy/garden scent! I am excited to see how strong the smell is when it is burned!

So I hope you enjoyed! Have a fabulous day!

NOTD: Zoya's Breezi

This week my husband was home when I was painting my nails. He hates the smell of nail polish so I decided to do a color that he would like to try and make up for it. I chose Zoya's Breezi a beautiful creamy blue. Below are some pictures in different lighting!

In my move the bottle did get a little dirty and it you noticed on my middle finger there are some lines. That is because when I was doing my nails my cat jumped and I accidently touched him and that is the place of his fur that was stuck on my nails. I hope you enjoyed ! Have a great day!

April Birchbox Review

Here is my April Unboxing Haul I did in the middle of April! It is now time to review! I love trying new products and Birchbox is a perfect way to do that!

1. BeeKind Body Lotion- This stuff smells heavenly! I was a very running almost oily lotion which I am not a fan of. I like thick body creams that really moisturize. I probably won't get the full size because of that. I was a good lotion, I just prefer something different.

2. Color Club Gala's Gem Collection Aquamarine Azulio- I have a blog-post on this color! But I absolutely fell in love with this color. It is such a beautiful light blue pearl. It is gorgeous and perfect for spring and summer.

 3. Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliatant-  This is something I had never tried before. After you wash and tone your face you are suppose to apple this all over your face and leave it on. When I tried this product I didn't feel like it did much for my skin, I will continue to use it to see if I notice anything, but so far nothing.

4. Sumita Color Intense Pencil in Black- This liner is a pigmented creamy black and is wonderful! I loved the lasting power! The only thing is since it is so creamy it is hard to keep it where I want it. I am not the best at eyeliner, so that definitely plays a part in this. I think I am going to stick to liquid eyeliners for the shear fact they are easy to apply.

5. KIND Healthy Gran Bar in Maple Pumpkin Seeds with Sea Salt- I liked this fun treat in my Birchbox! The bar was tasty it was a combination of salt and sweet which I like. I have tried other things from KIND that I like better, but it was still very delicious!

I hope you enjoyed! Have a fabulous day! What is your favorite day of the week and why?

End of the Spring 2014 Semster

Today as I was waiting for my teachers to input my final grades I thought I would let you know how my classes went. I was taking 6 classes which totaled up to 14 hours, which isn't bad at all.
First day of the semester!
1. Teaching Science (K-6)- This class and my Literacy Class tied directly to my practicum class which was nice, but made this confusing on what assignment was for what class. I loved my teacher for this class she was super understanding and willing to work with you. I feel like we didn't cover much in this class, but our class always took the whole time. I wish we had done more ways to teach specific content versus the sporadic way we learned. I liked this class and I feel ready to teach students science.

2. Teaching Literacy (K-2) - This class I feel like a learned a lot about how students learn to read as well as some strategies and problems that help students. We also learned some ways to evaluate students know where they are in their reading development. Next semester we have a class about teaching literacy for 3rd - 6th graders, so I am excited for that class!

3. Teaching Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Learners- This class touched on a lot of touchy subjects like LGBTQ parents, immigration and more that as teachers we will have to deal with. Overall, we learned that as a teacher you need to get to know your students and have equity not necessarily fairness.
Half-way through the semester!

4. Classroom Assessment (K-6) - This class we only had once a week but we went trhough different types of assessments and how and when they would be used. This class is going to be more and more helpful as I progress.

5. Math for Elementary School Teachers- I hated this class! This class is run through the Math department at my school, so even though I have had a ton of math they wouldn't let me get out of it. On top of this the teacher was not a great teacher because he bored me and then I had a friend who isn't the best at math and he couldn't reach her. As I talked to people in the class they were either getting A's or C/D's no in-between. I am glad I am done, next semester I am taking class about teaching math K-6 which I am looking forward to!

5. Practicum- This is the best class! Mainly because it's not really a typical class, this is when you went to the schools with two other partners and taught lessons and were in the classroom. THe first half of the semester we were in a Kindergarten room and taught literacy. It was so fun! The second half we were in a 6th grade room teaching science. Both were fun, but I definently like the younger grades better!
Last day!

I hope you enjoyed! Have a great day! What was your favorite class this semester?

April Empties Part 2

So today we are going to be doing Part 2 of my April Empties! Part 1 is here! So let's get started...

1. Lancome Treson Perfume (Might Repurchase) - Every time I wore this I got a compliment. I am not sure if I want to get it again only because I wasn't a huge fan of this scent (ironic I know)!

2. E.L.F. Duo Eye Shadow Cream in Sugar Cookie (Repurchase)- I have talked about this for such a long time! I love this. I can't get any more product out of this, so I am calling it done. I would definitely recommend this!

3. Olay Touch of Sun Daily UV Facial Moisturizer (Not Repurchase)- This is not something I would repurchase. It didn't give my face ANY color and it was the medium/dark color because I got it from my mom.

4. Hard Candy's Glamoflauge (Repurchase)- This concealer is amazing! I love this and need to repurchase soon! It is a very heavy concealer that it can cover tattoos (at least that is what they say), but it does cover any imperfections perfectly!

5. Tuscany Candle in McIntosh Apple (Repurchase)- I love this scent! It filled my house with a lovely apple scent that stayed for awhile!

I hope you enjoyed! Have a fabulous day!
