March 2015 Favorites

Today is the last day of March and that means it is time for March Favorites!! I can't believe how fast this year is going by. I am currently on a project pan, so I don't have a ton of different favorites. I also included an update to my 2015 goals in my video, so don't forget to check it out!

1. E.L.F. Acne Fighting Foundation- I have been working on this foundation for awhile, but I finished it this month! I love this foundation, it has great coverage, stays on forever, and has great coverage. The only downside is if you have dry patches on your face it will cling to it and look cakey. A great foundation for $6!

2. Wet n' Wild Creme Eyeshadow in Wild Orchid- I have had this for a long time, and it is in my Project Pan now. The consistency has change since I bought it. It is less creamy and more powdery, I have been enjoying this as a highlight it really brightens up my face!

3. E.L.F.Essential Brightening Eye Color in Neutral- I love this little quad! It is perfect to add some shimmer to any look! The colors are pretty pigmented except for the dark brown in the right hand corner. I would definitely recommend this. They don't see this exact quad, but they have 5 others and for only $1 who can beat that?

4. St. Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish & Blackhead Control- I have had this stuff for SO long! It was in my project pan (I finished it last week). I would mix this in with my cleanser and it gave my skin a nice exfoliating, but it wasn't super harsh.

I hope you enjoyed my March Favorites! Let me know your favorites down below! Have a wonderful day!

Project Pan Update #5

Today is my fourth  update of my Project Pan! I am so excited to share this journey with you. I started with 10 (it became 13) products I want to focus on using up. If I used up one product I am going to pick another one to replace it. With some exceptions.

On my YouTube Channel I am doing a makeup inventory series and you can see just how much makeup I have. One of my resolutions was to use things that I have up and this is one way I am accomplishing that goal! I will be updating you every two weeks on the progress. Below are the pictures the left is from two weeks ago and the right is the current progress. Click here to see Update #2 where you can see the original pictures.

Finished Products! (Click here to see my Final Thoughts)

1. St. Ives Apricot Scrub

2. Blush Cream Eyeshadow in Azure

Products Still Working on!

Face

1. NYC Sunny Bronzer- I am so happy that progress is continue to grow, we will see if I can finish this by May.

2. 100% Pure Strawberry Pigmented BlushThis blush is funny, in some pictures it looks like it is almost finished. Then next week it looks like the product as multiplied. We will see if I can get this finished.

3. E.L.F. Complete Coverage Concealer in Light- I can definitely tell the pans are growing!

4. Laura Gellar's Spackle Tinted Under Makeup Primer in Champagne- This is a huge primer, and I use it everyday when I wear makeup. It does a great job keeping my makeup on.

5. Revlon's Cream Blush in Rosy Glow- I can't believe this is going SO fast! It does a good job keeping my other blush on all day.

Eyes

6. E.L.F. Brightening Eye Color in Neutrals All four colors have pan! I am so excited with how quick these eye shadows seem to be going!

7. Mom Pallet- All the colors are getting so close to being finished!

8. Wet N' Wild Mega Eyes in Wild Orchid- I didn't make another mark because even though I use this everyday it isn't moving and I feel like this is going to be a never ending product, we will see what happens in the next update.

Lips

9. Liplicious I love Gossip Lip Gloss- I am in love with this lip gloss. I love the smell and the look it gives my lips. It is a little sticky,so it's not something you want to wear on a windy day.

10. Make Up Forever Lipstick Rouge in Artist Natural- I really like that this is a pretty neutral color for me especially underneath the lip gloss.

Random

11. E.L.F. Makeup Mist & SetI am so happy I am able to see progress. I try and use this every day I wear makeup!

Products Added!

1. Maybelline Fit Me in 125- I chose to include this in my project pan because I finished up a foundation (it will be in my March Empties)  and I have had this for awhile and it needs to go and putting it in here will help my motivation with this foundation. It is not my favorite, it is the older formula, I know they have now came out with two versions matte and dewy.

2. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze- I love cream eye shadows! When I finished my blue cream eye shadow, I knew this was the next one I want to finish up because the lid is broken on the side and I don't want this to dry out before I can use it.

I hope you enjoyed! Let me know if you are doing a project pan I would love to see your progress! I am hoping my next update will have some fun progress to show you all!

Products Showing Pan

I have seen a tag going around where people are showing products they have pan on. Currently I am on a project pan, and many of those products have hit pan on. Below are some products that aren't in my project pan that are showing pan in my makeup collection. I hope you enjoy! Let me know if you do this tag below!

1. Adrien Arpel Inc. True Blush- I think that was the first blush I ever owned (my mom gave it to me) I really like the color it gives when the beads are mixed around. As I started getting new blushes this was pushed towards the back, I want to start using this when my project pan blush is used up.

2. Benefit Confessions of a Concealaholic- I love sets! When I bought this I had never tried any benefit products and thought this would be a great way to try them. I love this collection of products, I have it pan on Boi-ing Concealer #1. I plan on purchasing the full size once I finish this and some other concealers I have in my collection.

3. E.L.F. Blush in Candid Coral- This was one of first blushes I actually bought and I loved this color in the summer time! It is a perfect coral color that you can build up, but it you just dust it lightly on.

4. E.L.F. Blush in Tickled Pink-  This is a perfect pink for lighter skin tones. You can build it up, but it looks so natural and never clownish.

5. Markwins Palette- I have had this palette for such a long time! This is another product that once I finish the eyeshadow palette in my project pan, this is the next eyeshadows I will be working on.

I hope you enjoyed! Check out the video here to see swatches and see a quick update!

March Birchbox Unboxing!

If you are following me on Instagram you know I actually got my March 2015 Birchbox a little over a week ago. I had other posts that I wanted to get up before this one so here it is! I am in love with the idea of the products and I am SO excited to start using them!

1. Whish Body Butter- I am slowly working through my lotions/body butters/etc. so this will be a nice change. I am not a fan of the almond smell, but I plan on mixing it with a lotion I do like the smell of and it will help. I am excited to see if it is as hydrating as it claims.

2. Derma e Evenly Radiant Brightening Day Cream- I have been using the Aveeno daily moisturizer and it seems to moisturize my face pretty well. I am excited to see if it does help my dull, uneven skin tone look even better.

3. Dear Clark Volumizing Hair Tonic- If you have been with me for awhile either in person, YouTube or on here you know I am always looking for ways to volumize my hair. I am hoping this adds bounce, lift and shine to my very limp hair.

4. Laura Geller Beauty Baked Blush-n-Brighten in Pink Grapefruit- I am so excited about this! I actually have recieved another one of these in a bronzer shade years ago and still love it! I am excited wear this!

5. Supergoop! Advanced SPF 37 Anti-Aging Eye Cream- I have been wanting to get an eye cream for a little while now and I actually just bought one on clearance and so I am curious to see how the two compare.

I hope you enjoyed seeing the products I got in this month's box. I will post an update in April letting you know how I liked the products. Have a wonderful day!

Project Pan Update #4 (2 months)

Today is the third update of my Project Pan! I am so excited to share this journey with you. I started with 10 (it became 13) products I want to focus on using up. If I used up one product I am going to pick another one to replace it.
Click here to see Update #2 where you can see the orginal pictures.

Finished Products! (Click here to see my Final Thoughts)

1. Wet n' Wild in 502A

Products Still Working on!

Face

1. NYC Sunny Bronzer- I am so happy that I finally see some progress on this bronzer! I thought this day would never come!

2. 100% Pure Strawberry Pigmented Blush- Like the bronzer, I have been using this blush for such a long time! I am hoping this blush will be used up by May, but we will see.

3. E.L.F. Complete Coverage Concealer in LightThe pans are growing! I am still going strong on these concealers.

4. Laura Gellar's Spackle Tinted Under Makeup Primer in Champagne- This is a huge primer, but I have used this everyday I wear makeup which is (6/7 days a week). You can see the progress is pretty consistent and if I keep it up it should be used by May.

5. Revlon's Cream Blush in Rosy Glow- I am so suprised how much progress I have made on this blush! I wear it everyday under my other blush and it is going pretty fast.
Eyes

6. Blush Cream Eyeshadow in Azure- I took out the stopper and so my line may be a little off. Inside there isn't a lot of product, but the brush still has a decent amount left. I think this might be gone in the next update!

7. E.L.F. Brightening Eye Color in Neutrals All four colors have pan! I am so excited with how quick these eyeshadows seem to be going!

8. Mom Pallet- I can really see some progress! All the pans are growing, which is a great sight!

9. Wet N' Wild Mega Eyes in Wild Orchid- This is a super messy eyeshadow because I had to cut it open because none was coming out when I squeezed because it was clogged. I use my fingers to apply this before my eyeshadows as well as on my face as a highlighter. Hopefully, this gets used up sooner rather than later.

Lips

10. Liplicious I love Gossip lip gloss- This lip gloss gives a light pink color to the lips, so it works great as I am transitioning into spring. I am loving it, it is a little thicker which means it is going to take awhile to use up. I am hoping next update the progress be a little bit more.

11. Make Up Forever Lipstick Rouge in Artist Natural- I just started usign this when my other lipstick finished. I am in love, it is a perfect shade to wear every day and it is easy to apply.

Random

12. E.L.F. Makeup Mist & SetPROGRESS! I think this will be gone by May!

13. St. Ives Apricot ScrubI am so close to being done! I am thinking by next update it will be gone!

I hope you enjoyed! Let me know if you are doing a project pan I would love to see your progress! I am hoping my next update will have some fun progress to show you all!

February 2015 Birchbox Review

If you would like to see my thoughts and unboxing my February Birchbox click here. I love getting birchbox every month. This was the first month that I got the curated box. Birchbox send out an email each month and you can pick one sample or a box already prepared (which is what I did). I had never tried any of the products so I thought I would give it a try.

1. theBalm® cosmetics Read My Lips™ Lip Gloss in Bam!- I really like this lipgloss! This month I didn't use it a whole ton because the lipstick that was in my Project Pan didn't go so well with this gloss. I am excited to continue to use this gloss. It is very pigmented and not sticky in the slightest!

2. Not Soap, Radio Body Wash in The Stuff that Cupids dips his arrow in (because sometimes fate needs an assistance-
This body wash was nice. I won't repurchase this once it is gone. The smell was a vanilla blackberry scent which was nice but it didn't last long on the skin. I have other body washes (that aren't $16 ) that seem to do the same thing.

3. Fekkai Blowout Hair Refresher Dry Shampoo-
I really liked this dry shampoo. It was a very fine mist which I liked, it still left a white residue on my hair. I used it with my Batiste Dry Shampoo in BLonde which I love. The two together were pretty nice. I don't think I will repurchase this right now, I might down the road because it was nice.

4. derma e® Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Scrub-
I loved this. I am currently trying to use up a face exfoliator in my project pan, so I didn't use this a lot. This was a perfect mess of a face cleanser and exfoliator and for my skin this would be perfect for every morning! I will have to use it a little bit more before I decided if I will purchase the full size.

5. Sumita Color Contrast Eyeliner in Raina -
I don't mind blue eyeliners against my blue eyes. I do think I prefer a brighter blue/aqua than this color. This color was a bright navy blue, the eyeliner did stay on my eyes all day which was wonderful!

I hope you enjoyed my review! I am excited to receive my March Birchbox! If you have any questions feel free to ask me in the comments! Have a wonderful day!
