Project Pan: Update #3

Today is the third update of my Project Pan! I am so excited to share this journey with you. I started with 10 (it became 12) products I want to focus on using up. If I used up one product I am going to pick another one to replace it. On my YouTube Channel I am doing a makeup inventory series and you can see just how much makeup I have. One of my resolutions was to use things that I have up and this is one way I am accomplishing that goal! I will be updating you every two weeks on the progress. Below are the pictures the left is from two weeks ago and the right is the current progress. Click here to see Update #2 where you can see the orginal pictures.

Finished Products! (Click here to see my Final Thoughts)

1. Body Shop Coconut Lip Butter

2. Perspectives' Lip-gloss in Swoon

Products Still Working on!

Face

1. NYC Sunny Bronzer- Since last update I have started using a big fluffy brush and dusting it all over my face, as well as using it for contouring. I think my fluffy brush is wearing the product down pretty evenly, so that is why there is not really any visible progress.

2. 100% Pure Strawberry Pigmented BlushI am still in love with this blush. However, I don't think I will ever finish! I wear this everyday and it's a great color for this time of year. It is SUPER pigmented so I use the tiniest amount.

3. E.L.F. Complete Coverage Concealer in LightThe pans are growing so hopefully they continue and I can finish this up, because I have other concealers I like SO much better.

4. Laura Gellar's Spackle Tinted Under Make-up Primer in Champagne- This is a huge primer, so the progress might not look super impressive, but I use this everyday and it is a pretty good primer.

5. Revlon's Cream Blush in Rosy Glow- I made a lot of progress on this! It is a nice subtle color for my very pale skin!

Eyes

6. Blush Cream Eyeshadow in Azure- I took out the stopper and so my line may be a little off. Inside there isn't a lot of product, but the brush still has a decent amount I am hoping in the next month this will be gone.

7. E.L.F. Brightening Eye Color in Neutrals Two colors now have pan! My goal for the next update is to hit pan on the last two colors! Shimmers seem to be pretty easy to use up compared to my other eyeshadow pallet.

8. Mom Pallet- Since I have hit pan, I am working my way around to create a more even layer instead of  a dip in the middle. In doing this I am not sure how much progress will be visible in the next update.

9. Wet N' Wild Mega Eyes in Wild Orchid- This is a super messy eyeshadow because I had to cut it open because none was coming out when I squeezed because it was clogged. I use my fingers to apply this before my eyeshadows as well as on my face as a highlighter. Hopefully, this gets used up sooner rather than later.

Lips

11. Wet n' Wild in 502A- I had amazing progress on this lipstick! I am hoping to have this finished by next update which shouldn't be an issue.

Random

12. E.L.F. Makeup Mist & SetPROGRESS! I will be so happy when this is gone, not that it is a bad product. I don't feel like I need setting sprays and the order I have to apply my makeup just is annoying. Since I have to wait for eyeliner and mascara (they might run), after I spray sometimes I forget to apply them.

13. St. Ives Apricot ScrubI am so close to being done! I am hoping in the next month I can finish this up! I am so excited about the progress!

Added Products

1. Liplicious I love Gossip lip gloss- I have been working on this gloss for quiet awhile and I decided to throw it in this project when the Prescriptive's lip gloss finished. It just gives a light pink color to the lips, so it will work great as I transitioning into spring.

2. Make Up Forever Lipstick in Rouge- I got this awhile ago as a birthday gift from Sephora.

I hope you enjoyed! Let me know if you are doing a project pan I would love to see your progress! I am hoping my next update will have some fun progress to show you all!

February 2015 Favorites

Welcome to my February 2015 Favorites! I am currently on a Project Pan and on a low buy (Click here to watch my small Ulta Haul), so my favorites are going to be a little bit smaller. I hope you still enjoy!

1. Bumble and Bumble Styling Lotion- I finished up this product this month. I loved the consistency of this hair lotion. It was a liquid, but moisturized my hair so well! If your hair is looking a little dry try this out!

2. Katherine Cessna Brown Liner- I received this in my January Birchbox and fell in love with it! It stays all day. I love that it is a dark brown because  it is  less harsh on my fair complexion.

3. Loreal Paris Carbon Black Telescopic Liner- I have been trying to use up some of my liners and I chose this one to start. This is easy to apply and you can make a thin line or a thicker winged liner.

4. Avon Glimmerstick in Tawny- I have been loving adding this onto my brows after I put eye shadow from my Project Pan. It has been lightening up my browns and I can make my brows more defined.

5. Nail polish- Click to see more pictures: Ms Pedicure and Sally Hansen's in Commander in Chic

I hope you enjoyed my Favorites! Check out the VIDEO to see how my 2015 Resolutions are going! Have a wonderful day! Let me know what your favorite eyeliner is down below.

February 2015 Birchbox Unboxing

It's Unboxing time! I actually got my February Birchbox the 6th of this month, but this was the first available time that it worked. I actually got the curated box this month which means I got the pre-made box that they let you pick from. I chose to pick this box because I had never tired any of the products and it looked interesting. I hope you enjoy!

1. Sumita Color Contrast Eyeliner in Raina- This was the product that I was least excited about because I have a ton of eyeliners I need to get through. I decied to get the box anyways just because I don't have a navy eyeliner and I have been loving it for the bottom lashes.

2. derma e® Anti-Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Scrub- When I picked this box I didn't realize that this was a scrub and I have been loving it. It has nice size beads that really exfoliate my skin.

3. Fekkai Blowout Hair Refresher Dry Shampoo- I am always on the hunt for a good dry shampoo! My hair is really greasy and dry shampoos are my best friend especially with my internship and having to look presentable so early in the morning.

4. Not Soap, Radio Body Wash- I am always up for a new body was and this bodywash is called "Stuff That Cupid Dips His Arrows In” it's a blackberry and vanilla cream scent with ginseng, which is said to kick up pheromones; and is exclusive-to-Birchbox.

5. theBalm® cosmetics Read My Lips™ Lip Gloss - I don't need anymore lip-gloss (My Lipgloss Collection is Coming on Thursday), but I saw the color and fell in love!

I hope you enjoyed this short unboxing post. My review will be up in early April once I have had a chance to try them. Hope you have a wonderful day!

NOTD: Ms. Pedicure's Red Nailpolish

For Valentine's Day I decided to go for the classic red nail polish. I noticed at my internship that I have been wearing a lot of black so, I decided to add some color with my nails. I chose a color that I have had for a long time by Ms. Pedicure. It is a gorgeous red shade, but there is no color name because it came in a spa kit and as in a sample size. Also, I wanted to let you know that my camera had a smudge on it when I took these pictures so I am sorry if it they look a little blurry. Enjoy!

Project Pan Update #2 (1 month)

Today is the second update of my Project Pan! I am so excited to share this journey with you. I picked 10 (it became 12) products I want to focus on using up. Below are the pictures the left is the start. middle is two weeks later and the right side is after a month

Finished Products! (Click here to see my Final Thoughts)

1. E.L.F. Shimmer Eye Pallet in Sunset

2. E.L.F. Glitter Gloss in Bronze Bling

3. Summers Hill Hand Lotion & Body Cream
Products Still Working on!

Face

1. NYC Sunny Bronzer- I feel like this is no progress between the three pictures. I am very pale so I can't use a lot, maybe this summer (if I get tan) I can make some decent progress.

2. 100% Pure Strawberry Pigmented BlushI love this blush. I can see a little progress between the three pictures which makes me very happy! Pictures is a great way to see your progress and feel like you are getting somewhere!

3. E.L.F. Complete Coverage Concealer in LightI hit pan on the last color! I have been using a light layer of foundation and been using these concealers all over my face and it has been working out well. Hopefully,  one of these colors can be gone by the next few updates.

Eyes

4. Blush Cream Eye shadow in Azure- I have been loving this between a primer and another cream shadow. I am so happy with the progress on this product!

5. E.L.F. Brightening Eye Color in Neutrals-  The pan on the dark brown color is growing! That color actually shows up as a clear shimmer color which I have been loving putting over my matte eye shadows in the pallet below. My goal is to hit pan on one of the other colors by next update.

6. Mom Pallet- I hit pan on everyone of the products! I love that this is the eye shadow in my project pan because it is so easy in the morning! I can do my makeup and not have to worry about what I am wearing because these matte neutral shade go with anything!

Lips

7. Body Shop Coconut Lip ButterThis is almost gone! I am hoping this will be gone by next update.

8. Wet n' Wild in 502A- I have realized that I use lipsticks really funny. I mean look at that shape. I am hoping within the next two updates this will be gone!

Random

9. E.L.F. Makeup Mist & SetI have been trying to use this product. I have noticed it helps my makeup stay on a little bit longer. I don't think I am quite as far as my line is on the bottle. (It was wishful thinking.)

10. St. Ives Apricot ScrubI forgot to use this for almost a week! I could definitely tell a difference, my skin needs a scrub especially in the winter.

Added Products

1. Wet N' Wild Mega Eyes in Wild Orchid- Once I finished the E.L.F. shimmer pallet, this was the next cream eye shadow I wanted to use up. I have had this for such a long time and it is time for it to go! I love the color of this cream shadow, but I DO NOT like the packaging.

2. Perspectives' Lip-gloss in Swoon- When I finished the E.L.F. Glitter gloss in Bronze Bling, I decided on this lip gloss. I have had this for awhile and you can see that it is almost complete so I thought I would just focus on it and finish it up.

3. Laura Gellar's Spackle Tinted Moisturizer- This May we will be moving, so I am trying to pick products that are old, packaging is broken or it would be hard to move. I chose this because the packing is huge and I don't want to have to move it. I have used this a few times and love it, so we will see when a use it a little more.

4. Revlon's Cream Blush in Rosy Glow- My skin was really dry this month and I was looking for a cream blush and come across this one from Revlon. I used it and it pan, so when I finished my lotions I decided I would add this in to see if I can use this up by May.

I hope you enjoyed! Let me know if you are doing a project pan I would love to see your progress! I am hoping my next update two or three products will be done so I can add in some more!
